Good plot development... Frost is a super nice guy... but shoddy animation kind of ruined the overall presentation.

Goku vs Frost had some pretty good bits. The animation was far from the worst in Super, I'd even put this above Goku vs Pikkon from Z.
Goku Vs Botamo wasn't great, but it was a joke fight so I think it's "fine".

Anyway Frost may have some ability using some kind of vibration with his punch that caused Goku to go lights out.


At least they deliberately focused on that hit.

I think it just goes to show you that Universe 6 isn't all about strength and pew pew kamehamehas to win fights.

In fact, I'm calling it now - each participant in these fights have special abilities that go beyond their strength limitations - in Universe 6, psychic powers or other methods were developed that didn't need extremely buff and trained fighters.

We can see this in how Botamo wasn't physically strong, but extremely resistant to attack.

We can see this in how Frost was physically strong, but not strong enough to contend with SS Goku. Thus he used another method that allowed him to win beyond just mere strength.

Expect this to be the same for all the fighters except Hit. Hit himself is probably the one most with strength + guile.

I expect Magetta to be all about how technology is advanced enough for fighting inside nuclear suits or something in Universe 6.

Saiyans in U6 developed ki weapons better than fighting skills and would explain his muay-thai esque fighting style with ki attacks launched from them.

Hopefully after the tournament he does some hardcore training and catches up to Goku and Vegeta with a new form.
We also need a what if story in a video game of Frost VS Freeza.
Maybe Freeza somehow ends up in Universe 6 and Frost has to stop him.

His 2nd form is his Assault form which he uses to lead a peace-keeping force into war-torn zones to end war in Universe 6. He even supports children and relief efforts afterwards which won him the Galactic Peace Medal 3 times. He made a deal to get Champa's support if he wins and doesn't want to go back on his promise to the children
