It's because every decent idea GT has is completely ruined by its diabolical execution. Baby as a character has interesting motivations but the actual development of that arc is just laughable. He is a boring character that is ultimately forgettable.

Super's first arc is BOG which is just better in every single way. Beerus is just 100x the character Baby ever was. Whis is an extra character who is also brilliant. Both of them are shrouded in mystery even to this day. A definite change from the usual type of antagonist we saw in GT. Beerus was just a way better villain. He was funny, charming, petulant and even compassionate. SSG also as a transformation is clean and simple compared to the overcomplicated mess that is SSJ4.

So yeah, BOG arc alone is better than anything GT ever did for me and I'm guessing for others as well. The tournament arc is proper DBZ level so comparing it to GT is basically an insult.

Well I kindly disagree... Beerus is an horrible character... Baby boring? I don't know about that.. the execution didn't live up to the build up but that doesn't mean the character = boring..

I kind it like Whis because of what he adds to the mix.. Like making Beerus a little bit better than horrible... That character is boring.

GT overall was decent/bad but Super is not better even with the interesting stuff going on right now....Golden Frieza =wasted of time and I didn't like how they ruined Frost with the heel turn but whatever.

Both series can be attack from every angle. Can Super beat GT at the end? sure it is not difficult to do but do not tell me that comments like the one people made fun in here is not valid because it does have weight.

SSG also as a transformation is clean and simple compared to the overcomplicated mess that is SSJ4.

Sure but SSG is lazy and stupid with a dumb logic behind it like SSJ4... SO..
