Dragon Quest 10 direct feed screen shots

World looks dead, impersonal, and soulless, like most MMOs. DQ VIII's world was lush and rich as hell (I'm playing through it again right now). Not excited :(

This. While it looks graphically better than DQ8, this has an empty feel to it.

this screenshot is as empty as my soul after the MMO announcement

Looks like a mediocre (looking) PSP game.

I don't really care about the graphics. They're fine. Whatever. I'm still waiting to hear more about the gameplay systems to decide if I can adapt to this whole online thing.

It looks pretty good for a wii game.

I'll definitely hold off until the Wii U version for the touch screen controller.

My biggest deciding factor is the monthly fee price. So is my friends. I can hardly even justify 10/month. I'd rather just sit through a minute of streaming advertisement everytime before I play.

DAT GRASS
How did you manage to get that line above that pic while quoting me...

And lol... You won't be seeing it from ground level in regular gameplay... I chose that pic for the city on the mountain...

The view should be more awe inspiring when being on that city and looking down, similar to the DQVIII vistas people were comparing earlier...

I must admit. that screenshot really looks like it is psp quality, resolution aside.
I don't think so, PSP games tend to make the ground all flat/angular to save polys not with curves and things... Even MonHun with its restricted areas...

Anyway, not every patch of grass can have a point of interest... That wasn't the case in VIII either. Or any game. There are plenty screens showing interesting areas, imo.

They'll all look better with the wandering enemies in place too. Either way, people will just focus on such screens and pretend the rest don't exit, like with Xenoblade's reveal.

How long till DQX MMO moaning becomes bannable?
The complaints originate more from the blandness of the graphics and the shitty characters, less about it being mmo. Although given the lead platform I'm sure this is part of the reason. Xenoblade does prove the wii can handle expansive lush areas.
