since i've seen summer wars i have dreamed about that kind of online game. play it on the go on your smartphone/3DS, go home, turn on your pc and have it on the big screen.

I don't think this is comparable as game streaming would be way more demanding than a "simple" MMORPG infrastructure wise.
IIRC, they had to set up particular partnerships in Japan to get it running.

There's some iffiness with the font on the DS's screen, IIRC. That's largely what's driven those.

What did the Wii version sell retail in comparison? The WiiU version tanked mostly due to people buying the Wii version for cheap and running it on a WiiU (this is why you have to buy both the PS3 and PC versions of FF14).
