It's not uncommon that tourists can't handle the weed here.
Unfortunately weed smokers don't care enough to buy organic weed only and the government seems fine with the decades old backwards legislation where it's illegal to grow, but selling is "tolerated".

Nope. Weed is very much still illegal in the Netherlands, police has just agreed to not give a shit about the sale of weed in coffeeshops. The shops can't legally buy the stuff so there is no way to tell where it came from and where the money goes.

Man one time I ate all these brownies because the dude said they didn't even bother making butter and there was like greens in the actual brownie, so I was like man even if I ate this whole pan of brownies not gonna do nothing, so I ate like 4 brownies. Joke was on me they just didn't strain the butter. So I was straight fucked at a flaming lips concert. I had to go sit down for most of the show. It was alright though lol. No way I could perform a show in that state. I could barely stand lol.

Yeah it's insane how much you can put into a small batch of brownies; to the point where a few crumbs can get someone pretty twacked. I've made brownies where a 2cm x 2cm square was way more than enough for an intense high (including visual hallucinations, which are actually achievable, but are difficult because you have to be pretty near "gonna pass out" levels.) Closed eye hallucinations were incredibly pleasant and came along with auditory hallucination; laid on my couch with eyes closed for a good 4-5 hours the first time I ate them.

That was a small batch with an ounce of kief that did that.

Yep, that seems to be the distinction. Second-time I ever smoked made me very ill and nauseated. Don't think that's really happened since then, but I know I got some sort of threshold. Drake must have crossed his lol.
