Driveclub with playstation plus

(Equips [Shiny Hat of Tinfoil]...)

Suspend/Resume for PS4 was announced in February 2013 and was just finally made available in March 2015.

While Driveclub for PS4 was originally announced also in February 2013, the PS+ version was not announced until June 2013.

Therefore, PS+ Edition of Driveclub will be finally released in July 2015.

Game is already cheap, racing fans with a ps4 all already bought it I might guess so the target audience gets smaller every day which reduces the chances of the ps+ version even more.
But no matter how you put it, the situation is just ridiculous for people who actually thought it would come and had hopes for the ps+ version.

Is there a Driveclub trophy for completely rejecting reality? Words like consensus have meanings. "I love Driveclub!" is fine. "Driveclub is universally adored!" is a lie.

Well that depends.

If you go by reviews then yes, it didn't review particularly well. Then again, they didn't play for very long and had very different expectations (open world gameplay) that tarnished their experience. And this isn't unique to Driveclub.

Compare that to the consensus of the people on this forum or Reddit who have played the game far longer and those who came on well after the release, like after a sale. There are many people who have taken issue with car selection, track design, online model, and vehicle handling, but overall the response is more positive than the reviews. I prefer to go by consensus of the customer rather than the review and it's not so uncommon when they're different.

... and somehow the people who post here are more on point?

Hyperbole aside, yes I'd say some were, by virtue of giving the game a fair shake over a period of months and being able to enjoy the game for what has been offered and not for what it never attempted to be.

You'll find people here and on tons of other sites that talk about how good deadly premonition is and some even list it in there games of the year list. wouldn't say the general consensus of the game is that it's good, though. it's not hard to find specialized groups that share the same opinions. Like I said, the consensus is that it's a good game. Some think it's a great game and some think it's average, but most think it's good.

It was $20 on Gamestop a while back. I think if you really wanted to try it out without losing out too much, that was the best time to do so.

Not harping on you OP but general consensus is the game is cheap enough to try it out.

OP is definitely living under a rock but I dislike when people say things like "just buy the game".

Sony promised a PS+ edition and should continue to do everything they can to deliver it. If people wanna wait that's their right.

Wowzers!

You guys have no mercy -_-;
last time I kept up with this game was some E3 ago.

Truly truly I tell you guys, I had no clue of what was going on,
everyone was posting screen shots of the game a few months ago I thought there was some free version or something.

I just bought my PS4 for the Final fantasy XV demo.

My mistake :/

Haha don't feel so bad, it was a good bit of entertainment :P

There's just been a ton of discussion and threads about it on here constantly so it's a bit surprising to most that you hadn't heard of it, nothing wrong with that though.

Don't get your hopes up for real, as someone who has owned the game since launch the servers still have problems from time to time and it feels like PS+ edition is still very, very far away. Like 2016.

No game is worth $80. Wake up.

You must not live in Canada

Yeah that's surprising too, not sure why it's so low.

I've heard people go on media blackouts until they can play the game but this is amazing. May as well just get the full game.

Make that E3 and you probably be right.

I paid $40 because I pre-ordered during E3. Hopefully Best Buy offers the same kind of deal this year. If so, you should pay attention to it.

Regardless...nothing makes DC worth $80.

Price/value is subjective. Trying to say something flat out is or isn't worth $80 is fruitless.

To you, it's not worth $80. To me, it is.

I own games that I would gladly pay $100 for if that was what they cost.
