Seriously, it really saddens me how arguiably one of the best driving games of all time pretty much died an unceremonious death like this.
Its fun, its got one of the most kick ass sountracks i've ever listened to (both official and licensed), it breaks the paradigm that racing games can't have good story/writing along cohesive thematics, it even marries game design with narrative which is something even many 'normal' story driven fail to do. Even techwise it felt ahead of its time, we all talk about instant movement through the world because of SSDs nowadays, Driver SF was already doing that way before they became mainstream.
Such a shame, if you haven't played this game yet do give it a chance if you can find a working copy (or doesn't mind sailing the seven seas i guess).
