Dropsy |OT| Clown around town

Can anyone help me out on how to find the second lever to get into the mine?

Check out the anti-vampire camp in the SW corner of the map. You need to progress quests there and hug people after completing them. Someone fixes the boat for you out of gratitude. Someone on that island has the lever.

More detail:
It's the people looking for somewhere to perform. Play their tape to the music store owner. Take the card back to the band members. After the performance, talk to the dude under the truck for the boat fix. The guy on the island has the second lever. You need to get that picture in the house to his brother back in town.

Thanks.

Edit: I am dumb. Figured it out.

Gonna grab this next time I get paid. Looks like something I'd enjoy a lot, already grabbed the vinyl because I had enough for that!

I finished the game and I think the only person I couldn't hug was the
vampire book woman
. I also am missing a piece of the statue. I had the
feet, torso and the head
. Does this change the ending or anyting about the game.

In any case, I thought this game was great.

No idea this was a thing. I am interested in this. Gonna see if the wife wants to give it a shot after work. Looks..weird and awesome.

The name immediately made me think of Cropsy. An okayish documentary on a serial killer.

big patch with lots of fixes coming hopefully today!

in a later patch we're revamping the 'go to sleep' system with an alarm clock. should make the day/night cycle muuuuch nicer to manage

Can someone please explain how you finish the game.
I just got past the circus and I'm not sure what to do now. I went home and nothing happened

This is indubitably the best P&C I've played in a looong time. The heart in this game, the way it combines simplicity with deep, dark undertones, the secrets yet to be solved. This game is a classic. I salute the creators! [Will help kickstart anything you do from now on]

Just finished the game.

What a lovely game!

But...sup with the ending?

I understood some parts of it, but...
who was the S-corp bearded guy? Why did he want to harm Dropsy so badly?

Also, when Dropsy reunites with his family...
is it something like heaven, a.k.a. is Dropsy dead?

Kind of a necrobump, but if anyone was having issues like I was with the game opening to three purple boxes, put '-force-d3d9' in the Launch Options for the game, then it should run normally.

Ive been playing this all week now. Its actually pulled me away from Fallout 4. I grew up on PnC adventures, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, etc. I haven't enjoyed a point n clicker since Curse of Monkey Island, until I played Dropsy. I'm not even exaggerating when I say its probably one of my favourite games of the year. The pixel art is amazing, the soundtrack is fucking next level shit, and the game is just great. I'm just at the end (not finished tho), and its been so enjoyable, I think it sits up there with games like Brothers in that it tells a great story and has some genuine touching moments without ever needing a word of English. I also love how it turns the whole creepy clown trope on its head by having one of the creepiest fucking clowns ever be utterly loveable and completely harmless :D

Are there any full versions of music tracks on the tapes btw? Some of them are so good

Wow, I can't believe this game's OT only had 2 pages! It really went under a lot of people's radar, and that's a shame.

I think it's a return to the greatness of Lucasarts-style 90s point and click adventures, and probably my favorite adventure game since Grim Fandango.

I wrote my impressions on 4 color rebellion (shameless plug, please tell me it this is frowned upon).

Totally. Most modern point and clicks don't quite reach the greatness of the classics, but Dropsy did. One of my favorite games of last year for sure.

Just finished the game and I'd like Jay Tholen to confirm something:

[SPEULERZ]

Please tell me that the ending with Dropsy's biological mother, his animal friends and his father is real, and not some sort of dying hallucination... ;_;

This was posted a couple of days ago on the Kickstarter:
Howdy Backers!

I've been a busy bee! The 'beach budate' now titled "The Yeti's Curse" will be out in January 2017! It will be a free update with lots of new people to hug, and secrets to unearth.

It's a bit bigger than we originally anticipated. Not HUGE, just a tiny bit bigger. A few of your lore-related questions will be answered as well. :0)

This update was supposed to be out shortly after the game came out, but I guess it dragged out for a bit. I'm very much looking forward to this, since I still have only played the backer beta, and wanted to wait for this update before (re)playing the game.

It's real. :0)
There'll be a few more details in the January update.

I guess I will need to replay it.

Bump, because I finished it. I think I did most everything except find all the missing pages and complete the statue. Are you able to get past the CIA dude? Because I didnt.
