How do you mean? Combat that effective would get boring in DayZ since there are not much zombies there.

They have said that it's 30fps on consoles unfortunately.

After watching both, it is indeed a downgrade. They got the usual standard American main character instead of something new like, I presume, an Australian.

Joking aside, I dont see much difference other than different time of day. Looks about the same, honestly. Maybe reduced draw distance, thats about it, I guess.

no downgrade only plateform difference here (and differences are not big).

So the pre-order thing. The be-the-zombie mode is special to single-player/campaign correct? I assume the general multiplayer isn't limiting zombie-mode to pre-orderers only (cause that would be short-sighted).

As an aside, it really annoys me when marketing refers to current-gen as 'next gen'. Why would something that's been on the market be in any way "next"?!

I had a blast with the co-op of dead island, at least for the first few hours. once we figured out how to jump kick zombies the game got a lot more hilarious
