Yet still people on the right side (I shit you not) defend these guys because apparently resetera & co have issues with CD Projekt Red for "transphobia" reasons... when it's pretty much the only game in town which allows the player to create a shemale character.

Because Alanah Pearce has "followers" on YouTube & the corporate suits believe simple maths, i.e. "put influencer with xyz millions of followers in video game = xyz number of those millions of followers purchase the game".
It's not more complicated than that.
Edit: also the fact she "came out" as pansexual earlier this year probably played a huge role within the attempts of the game publisher to market a blurred line between reality (pansexual celebs) & fiction (highly sexualized Cyberpunk world). Whether she's even legit with her her sexual orientation (& it isn't just opportunistic public relations which paid off here) is another matter.

yeah they lied but the thing is the game looks better than anything they showed off. it was actually Nvidia who showed the game at its best with the RTX trailers.
i know we're all having a laugh at the bad visuals of that image but it's obviously from someone on PC with a weak system. character models look a million times better than that at ultra/RTX.

I see. Thanks for clarifying. It's strange to me that Red Dead looks so much better on consoles than this game and runs better. Seems like poor optimization or just a direct port with very little optimization.
