Sony E3 2005. Even if that was all hyperbole at the time it was damn big. Also the E3 2006 full Wii reveal was pretty damn big as well.

Guaranteed E3 will disappoint in some way. My prediction: a bunch on unappealing, dudebro shooters/uncharted clones at Sony's conference and a heavy focus on casual/kinect games at Microsoft's conference.

In theory it could be the best E3 ever.

But... it will probably be the E3 with the fewest, safest games yet. And with most 'badass' first person shooters catered to 15 year olds.

It could be. Provided Sony and MS bring it, and Nintendo bring it also with the Wii U.

I am hyped but I was last year and was left feeling like smashing my consoles, laptop, and TV up.

Most people seem to be handling big announcements outside of E3 so don't think so. Don't expect big things.

last 3 E3's have been the worst E3's ever. Ever since that date debacle everything has been shit, but the last three E3's have been so terrible. Last year's had almost zero hype, as well. I wanted to just skip 2012 and go rigt to 2013.

Last year's was still incredibly more exciting than 2007.
