This post is 100% Dead Serious. My plans haven't been finalized, but this is my preliminary idea. I live in Karachi, Pakistan at the moment, so I'd love to show you guys just a tiny bit of what I'm planning on eating. With the exception of the desserts, these are my pictures.

I live 12 hours ahead of you if you live in the Pacific Standard time. So by the time MS hits the stage I'll be 9:30 PM on a Monday night so I've planned accordingly.

1:00 PM - During the day I'll be doing my normal Ketotic diet, so I'll be munching on a variety of meats. Since this is E3 - I'll have a nice helping of a "Thali". What's a Thali? It's a dish of all sorts of meat from all over the world. On this plate you can see Chicken melted in Butter and Cheese, Afghani Steak pieces, Malai Tikka etc. Pure meat here.

9:30 PM - During Microsoft's press conference, It'll be dinner time. So your boy' going all Fancy and eating some Fettucini Alfredo from an excellent restaurant in Karachi, whose owner and I are personal friends. I'm getting this delivered-

This will be a smaller dish, so I'll have room in my stomach for some good eats later on.



2:00 AM - Ubi / EA or someone is up next. Every NPD thread, while the sheep much on their popcorn, I'm known for getting pizza. And my personal favorite pizza- Double Ranch Chicken. Nothing famous here, just regular old Domino's, but DELICIOUS.

5:00 AM - It's Muslim (Fajr) prayer time, and consequently Dessert Time. I am very good friends with one of the best bakers in Karachi. She has an internationally renowned bakery here, known as the "Cakery". I was on the phone with her, and called in a favor. I have the worst weakness for cupcakes. I'm penciled in, and she told me she'd shoot me a few extra surprises. For reference, these are my favorite cupcakes from her- this is what I got last time.

oh and I'm washing it all down with Oil, I mean this-

Well, I picked up some Kokanee Beer for the afternoon/evening portion of Monday. For the morning, I'll likely just have a bowl of whatever cereal I happen to have. If I can trust the experience of a friend who also takes a Japanese class at college - trust me, some of your classmates will make you cringe in no time. Apparently the difference between people learning Japanese for buisness reasons, normal manga/anime/game fans and the weirdos is preeeeety huge. My friend is a huge nerd himself and some of the weirdos made him cringe hard.

I'm hoping with it being a summer class maybe I'll avoid some of the weirdos.

On another note, I'm kind of baffled at how many of you are forgoing finger foods for eating proper meals. Isn't the point to just sit back on your couch and relax with some easy-access grub and your drink of choice while watching the conference? But some of these dishes look like you'd need a knife and a fork to eat them. That's all well and good if your TV is situated in your dining room, but for us normal folks who watch TV in our living rooms, pizza, chicken, chips, popcorn, or any other sort of finger food will have to do.

While I agree the market is oversaturated with IPAs, it's still my favorite style and when executed properly you get some of the best beers in the world. See: Pliny, Zombie Dust, Sculpin, Sucks, Two-Hearted, Enjoy By etc.

Also, a large, varied hop bill does not equate to one note flavor in a beer. When blended with the proper ratio of malt, yeast and carbonation, some pretty impressive flavors can emerge.
