Okay, they released a REALLY buggy game. That's still nowhere near what some of the other companies on that bracket are accused of doing.
Actually the majority of their games released broken, to some degree.
They also increased the level of microtransactions across their new games and pushed for even less accountability in their mobile games.
For example they released 'Dungeon Keeper' on Android and when you have the option to 'Rate the Game' 1-5 stars if you did not rate it a 5 it would boot you off the rating screen and make you send an email to general EA complaints. Essentially: It would not allow you to post a rating under 5/5 for Android market to see. That is about as anti consumer as it comes without actually harming people (as I am aware some of these other companies actually do).
