Are Madden and fifa coming to the vita?
People who do buy EA games also buy games you may like, increasing the viability of games you like on the system you like.
It's a symbiotic relationship. All popular publishers are important, regardless of whether or not you like their games.
Maybe I'm wrong, but when EA puts out a lazy first wave of titles for most platforms, they usually at least match what is out on the old ones. Was the PS3 version of Madden inferior to the PS2 version? Yet the Wii U version of Madden was released on an older engine than the PS360 versions. Why would anyone buy that?I don't buy the whole 'well, the Wii-U versions were rubbish'. EA always has a rubbish first round on every new platform and yet the games still sell. In addition, it seems like very little 3rd party software is selling well on Wii-U regardless of quality or publisher.'
This is looking a bit familiar...
1) - Nintendo announces new system. [check]
2) - 3rd party not very enthusiastic, but test out a few sloppy ports/games. [check]
3) - Nintendo release schedule lacking, looks like system is in danger of flopping. [check]
4) - 3rd party back off even more, or pull out completely. [check]
5) - Nintendo initiates panic-mode, software volume improving.
6) - Sales of Nintendo system increase.
7) - Some 3rd parties scrambles to get stuff on the system.
8) - 3rd party games don't utilize Nintendo hardware well due to lack of prior investment.
9) - Nintendo games utilize hardware well, stand out, and flourish.
10)- 3rd party complain that N-fans only buying Nintendo games.
So how long before I can check em all?

And Mass Effect 3 was literally sent out to die in the face of Trilogy on other systems.
EA may half-ass every launch, but they don't usually put out deliberately inferior versions on the new consoles.
Finally, the return of Pennant Chase Baseball!Nintendo making their own sports simulators?

Eurogamer said:EA has confirmed to Eurogamer that FIFA 14 will not release on Wii U.
In a statement, EA Sports said it took the decision after poor sales of the Wii U version of FIFA 13.
"Ten months ago FIFA 13 was a launch title on Wii U," an EA spokesperson told Eurogamer. "Although the game featured FIFA's award-winning HD gameplay and innovative new ways to play, the commercial results were disappointing. We have decided not to develop FIFA 14 on Wii U."
And I couldn't be happier.
They do gimp new versions. Off the top of my head, Tiger Woods gen 3 had less courses and options than Tiger Woods gen 2. I'm sure it was the same for other EA sports franchises.Maybe I'm wrong, but when EA puts out a lazy first wave of titles for most platforms, they usually at least match what is out on the old ones. Yes. Less games is a good thing.
Who didn't see this coming?
Fewer.
http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1SzAf...les/2013-05-17-nintendo-wii-u-death-by-apathyBut EA has pulled out of the Wii U because sales of both hardware and software are dreadful. We're not officially allowed to report sales numbers from Chart Track in the UK but everyone in the publishing business can see them quite clearly. There's no need for pretence. When you can get to number one in the Wii U charts by selling less than 1000 units it's no longer a tragedy, it's an actual farce.
The 360 version of Madden 06 was very bare bones. Lacked quite a few features of the PS2/XBOX versions, including creating players and challenging plays. Franchise mode was also gimped, as I recall.

Sounds to me like EA might have a plan:
Either:
1. Stop developing for the Wii U hoping that Nintendo exits the console business so that they can come up with their own EA console
or
2. Stop developing for the Wii U to financially hurt Nintendo so that EA can afford to buy them them and therefore join the console business

So the Wii U has no chance of success in PAL territories now. shit
nicely done.I know I'm a little late to the party, but I made this.
