This. They are horrible. The animations are low-budget-flash-game worthy.

i lol'd at the opening sequence with all the characters flying through the air completely unanimated aside from a braid of hair. the actual game didnt get much better.

Are the characters supposed to seem that emotionless? Like, they're doing all this cool DMC stuff on-screen and they just look so "bleh" about it. The gameplay looks cool but that kind of animation is not meant for this kind of game.

Also, the music blows chunks.

Hmm, the animations are poor, and the camera looks like it can get in way too close at pretty poor times. I'm just not a fan of the overall aesthetic.
