Eh.

What!?! Really?!

Eh 1 or 2 days off school is nice, but when you get more than that, you have a ton of work to make up in only a few weeks especially if it's a university. It's nice in retrospect, but when you get back, the work piles up.

Here we go again..Just started. Hope those kids(5) I paid $30 come back to do the whole driveway again...saved me 2.5 hours.

I picked up some new PS3 games today to keep me company during the snowstorm tomorrow and made sure that I parked my car in a safe place, away from my hill so no one hits it again.

Although, my luck today, someone must have backed into, or turned too close and scratched my 1 week old brand new bumper :(

Anyway, I hope we make it out alive of the storm! Fuck the snow.

DC, usually around number 30 in snowfall, is now number 2, just behind Syracuse

Rochester is #3? We haven't had jack shit for snow since I moved here in 2008

I hope they close the mall here in Fairfax,va tomorrow so I can skip work but I bet there are still people who need to come to Macy's to shop.

Meh, I get to go hang out with my friends and learn about stuff I actually like all day. It's nice to have a few days off, but now I'm just bored.

Also, I managed to dodge the snow's cock-blocking ways on Sunday, but I don't have the energy to do it again. Fuck this snow. It's in my way. I don't like it when things are in my way.

Well it's been snowing all day here in Michigan and it's supposed to last through the night. There's probably about 4"-5" right now, but we'll see how much accumulates overnight.

Holy shit have things taken a turn for the worse in Phila. There was a pause in the snow for like half an hour and now the sky has gone really dark grey and the snow has picked up.

Snowing hard in NYC right now. :(

It's going to get a lot worse.

Ugh.. so not only do we have 2 feet of the snow on the ground right now... we now have -5 to -15 windchills to deal with.

It's like I'm living in the Lost Planet game.

well obviously nyc doesn't get hit as hard they say it would, i say this everytime to my family but they always say "no this time they(forecasters) mean it". and damn near every other college closes but mine:(

I've been off for 6 days now (had a work from home day last Friday). There are near blizzard conditions outside my house (N.E. DC).... Metro is closed, they've suspended all mail service, the local grocery stores look ransacked.

All in all, pretty damn cool.

Queens NY - Snow is 5-6 inches, very heavy because it's very wet. Feels like rain when it hits you...

Heavy rain...

OH MY GOD! HEAVY RAIN!

I heard back in PG and bmore its like the end of the world or some shit.

Im in shadyside i should go see what stuff is looking like outside.

Stamford, CT: coming down really hard. Stocked up on rations last night, so I'm not leaving my house today. For that matter, I'm not changing out of my pj's either.

So last night I was talking with a friend and guaranteed we probably wouldn't get 5" here in NW DC/Montgomery County since most forecasts were being downgraded. I was up until 3 AM thinking I would be correct since nothing had fallen.

I wake up at 8 and, of course, there are blizzard conditions. Oh well, off to work.

Holy crap it's getting bad out there!

I got to work by 7:30 am and it didn't seem too bad, but then the storm picked up by 9am work had to end early around 11am and I was lucky enough to be dropped off with someone with an SUV but even then we could barely see ahead of us by maybe 25-30 feet at best, ended up driving around 15 mile an hour bad.

It's coming down again in Richmond, VA. I'm working from home again today.

Yeah, it was crazy here this morning. The wind gusts reduced visibility to almost nothing. I drove a mile, past one disabled vehicle and saw others sliding a bunch. Stopped in a Ukrops parking lot for a while and then went back home.

Left my laptop at work yesterday, no working from home for me.

Unrelated, but this woman in the audience of some talk show on Univision (can't understand a word they're saying) has amazing cleavage. :lol

It's been a straight-up blizzard in northern Loudoun County, VA since about 7AM. Sustained winds 25mph+, gusts who knows how high, and heavy snow throughout. Visibility is about 1/10 mile here right now and hasn't been much better. Can't tell how much new snow has fallen for sure because there's so much drifting.
