I just remember the actress from Holby City, which cause me to get confused as I thought the two show were doing a crossover.

Wikipedia also says she was in Danny Dyer's cinematic masterpiece Run for Your Wife which apparently only made £602 in its opening weekend at the British box office and has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gotta bit of catching up to do, I've been in hospital since Thursdays with Pneumonia (yeah a 23 with Pneumonia).

Anyway it seems like I've missed a lot, did Charlie die?

In regards to that shocking Peggy return, only read this if you want to be spoiled.

Again, warning, its potentially big for anyone who doesnt want to be spoiled. If you want me to take it away, I can, its just the URL isnt working correctly yet for the article.

“Everyone knows I love EastEnders and that will never change.

“Peggy is a character close to my heart but I made the decision a while ago that I need to say goodbye to Peggy once and for all as otherwise she will always be there, urging me to go back and that is something I need to shut the door on.”

Dame Barbara wrestled with the decision before informing the soap’s executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins.

She added: “After thinking long and hard about it, I realised that it is time for me and the audience to say our final farewells to the lady who I have loved for many years and I thought that whilst the Guvnor, who I adore, is still in charge I want him to be the one to oversee it.

"I am grateful that Dominic has accepted my decision and together, since late last summer, we have been secretly plotting Peggy’s last scenes.”

Soap boss Dominic paid tribute to Dame Barbara, saying: “Barbara is the real guvnor of EastEnders. So when she told me her decision back in the summer, we both had a little cry before getting excited about how Peggy Mitchell, the matriarch to end all matriarchs could bid her final farewell to Albert Square.”

“In Peggy Mitchell, Barbara has created one of the greatest ever characters on British television, someone who has become as synonymous with EastEnders as The Queen Vic itself.

"So this is the end of an EastEnders era. But it is also an opportunity to send Peggy Mitchell out in style in what will be one of the most heartbreaking, uplifting and epic exits an EastEnders character has ever had.

“We can’t wait to have Barbara back at EastEnders, even if it is for the final time. The most professional of professionals on set and off, and a true friend, we have all been working harder than ever to make Barbara and Peggy Mitchell proud.”

The URL isnt working yet, looks like The Sun went up early with the article and took it down.

But if you google the storyline + character name + the sun you can see its in the search results.

I love the Peggy surprise.

I'm so tempted to click it. Shall I click it?

it should be interesting to see Phil's children both back on screen.

BBC's official statement on the return of Peggy

Although the permanent departure of a beloved character is sad, I actually think Peggy's gradual easing out of EastEnders has been a great way to do it. The cameos and returns here and there have kept her involved, but in her absence other characters have flourished.

Windsor's reason for leaving makes complete sense too. She clearly adores the show and would keep returning as much as she could, so this provides closure for her and the character.

McFadden is so good at playing pissed Phil. It's tragedy and comedy in equal measure. Don't know how he pulls it off. Seriously underrated actor.

EastEnders legend
Ross Kemp
to return

I would love it if Ross was a parody of himself in this and came back all like Ross Kemp On The East end, being in character that would be hilarious, yes it will never happen.

And they already mistakenly killed off Pat, so no reunion.

I could totally see them having a ghost Pat.

Everyone's standing around Peggy's bed as she slowly dies, camera fades to black. Picture fades back up, Peggy looks around, the room's empty. You hear a voice off screen. Pat walks in and says something iconic like 'I've been waiting, you old tart'. Peggy smiles. Credits.

Huzzah Martian finallys grows a pair and tells someone that Stacy is having an episode...well kinda but he was still going to do it regardless.

And then after the credit then Pat, Peggy and Lucy at a table drinking and then Lucy says...

"I was murdered by Bobby...that little shit head."

Kat's sisters are awful people.

Yep.

I have to say, EE has been killing it with surprise returns in the past month.

Jack, Lucas, Peggy, Ryan, Glenda.

It's very impressive to keep it all under wraps.
