Eating a Kraft Dinner for the first time.

I recommend margarine over butter, 1-1.5 Tbsp, don't overdo the milk

3 Tbsp is just a stupid amount

Shit is so good when the balance is right :)

Eating "a" Kraft Dinner? No no no no no.

The proper way to say this is "I'm eating Kraft Dinner for the first time".

Pffft, rookies.

You're supposed to let it thicken while you stir after draining it. And what about mac & cheese is unhealthy? Fat is good and delicious.

I know what I'm supposed to do, I'm just saying there are better brands, for me anyway.

As far as unhealthy, I don't want a whole lot of butter in my diet, but I'm not going to get into it because I'm not in the mood for a healthy food lecture from GAF.

The vanilla Kraft Mac & Cheese is great, especially if you mix in something like Tuna, Spam or Bacon, but the flavored varieties are where it's at now.

Kraft or any decent powder based mac n cheese is the BEST.

The shit that comes with the melted cheese is absolute horse shit.

I dunno. The Velveeta shells & cheese with the Ro-Tel tomatoes is pretty good.

Throw some goat cheese into the mix and top with black and red pepper. Shit's gooood.

Also, throw away a small hand full of the noodles before boiling them and then prepare as normal. Less noodles means a higher ratio of cheese power for extra yum.

you guys remember those single serving mac and cheese things that the bowl was built into and you poured hot water in and then I think put the whole thing into the microwave? I used to make those in middle school every day before football practice

I'd actually love to be able to buy the cheese mix separately. I can't eat wheat anymore (shouldn't have been eating it all my entire life) and I definitely miss it. Other brands just aren't the same.

I used to live with a Canadian and he said back home you can buy the sauce mix standalone in bulk.

I do not know if this is true.

You can definitely do it in Canada at Bulk Barn. (I have a Canadian buddy and I looked it up to see if he should bring me some. It had wheat. :( ) I should probably just email Kraft.

I always under cook the noodles and add minimal butter (one tablespoon max) and milk. Toss in a can of tuna or some veggies and it's an amazing quick meal. I need to get some nice smoked sausage and give that a whirl.

ketchup will never touch my kd, that would be disgusting, i mince chicken and put it in with the kd and crushed chilis.

Kd tip of the day: Hold back on some of the butter and replace with sour cream. Makes it really rich

Edit: you can replace the butter with yoghurt for a heathier option. Still awesome.

So versatile. You can add anything you want to it and make a caserole.

Any buy really expensive ketchups with it. That's right, all the fanciest- dijon ketchups! MMMM.

KD is awesome. Add tuna, veggies, or ketchup. Can't go wrong.

Awesome BNL reference

KD is about as basic a food as you can get. Love it, but haven't had it in a looong time.

We sometimes slice up hot dogs and put them in.

No, this is an abomination! Ketchup and Kraft dinner is a terrible combo.
Yes, the ketchup changes the flavour too much. The line has been drawn. No ketchup.

Sorry brother, but I just can't accept that. I won't. In fact I'm eatin ketchup laced KD right this very instant!

Oh! And another here's another tip. Sour cream or butter ain't cutting it in the smoothness department? Why not use both? Cream cheese is your answer boys, eh!

I love leftover roasted chicken or extra lasagna meat in it. Actually I will throw just about anything that seems like it would be good in it.

I prefer Deluxe over the powder. Starting to warm up to the cardboard-y taste of Annie's because it's healthier or something, according to Wife.

Love it, any pasta really. Sadly I feel like a beached whale after I eat it. I like feeling full but not stuffed, and I tend to just eat this stuff until it's gone.

Yea, I make the deluxe for my kids. It's tastier than the regular stuff.

Just need to hit it with a splash of milk at the end of mixing in the cheese.
