I wonder where they'd go with the roster.

The obvious route would be to start with the MK1 and SF2 rosters (8 playable in SF, 7 playable + Shang Tsung for MK), add Bison and Shao Kahn, then add a few more characters from later games in each series to flesh it out.

But then, they never go the obvious route in these crossover games.

Yah, I would like this too. There are so many problems in MK9 that look like they are never going to be fixed. Really a shame. Like when playing 2 player online, player 2 can't pick any DLC characters, or unlocked characters like cyber sub. Not to mention that they can pick alternate costumes at all. Its kinda fucking ridicules that things like this never never got fixed.

Maybe he'll one day end up making Mortal Kombat vs Road Killers or something, with a bunch of Street Fighter rip offs, rather than the Street Fighter crew themselves.

This would ONLY work if Capcom did it without the fatalities.

Capcom could just make the fatalities DBZ BT 3 style - where the big attacks completely vaporized the opponent. You'd notice that the opponent was "dead", but without bringing gore to a Capcom game. The problem would be whether they'd allow a MK version without censorship.

I'd buy it day 1 if the game ever got made. I think MK should team up with KOF. It will help SNK in the West, MK in the East and together it wil print money. The increased userbase of both games will then make future crossovers more likely and then i can get the MK VS Sf game i wont and people can get the CVS3 game they pray for

I'd buy this just to use a fatality on every single shoto in SF(also Blanka). Taking out fatalities means the game may as well not exist. I wouldn't mind them making it so long as it keeps Ono's hands away from Darkstalkers though.

Yes, MK9 was really good, but it does have serious balance issues (to say the least). SF X Tekken is bad enough.
