Review code in Europe for the game was shipped already a few weeks ago, full english.

Man, Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins and a couple other upcoming games are really tempting me to get a PSP.

First, people surprised at the seven and eights should understand this is Edge we are talking about; a magazine that uses a full scale of 0-10, not 7-10

Okay, I knew UG&G was good. Although to get a *9* out of EDGE, that shit must be the return of Christ in handheld form. Which means, PSP FINALLY HAS TEH KILLER-APP !!

It's the first handhels game since the original Advance Wars to get a nine I think.

as much as anything GnG related gives me the most potent of semis , this isn't going to be the 'killer app' - does the machine even need one? i think it has a hot selection of games, and of course, the true killer app anyways : Porn in the toilet at work.

Wow, that's early. Game isn't supposed to be out until September. Maybe they thought reviewers would have so much trouble with it they wanted to give them some time. ;)

The 'problem' with Dis 2 is it essentially pretends that Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom never happened, ignoring any conventions they introduced while adding to the stuff of the original Disgaea. Some people might see that as a step backwards. Eurogamer gave the game a 9 if it reassures you any. I barely finished a single battle, so all I'll say is it's got purdy graphics.

No, using Edge's scale, a 5 is average which means both games are above average, in other words they are both good.

Tekken DR deserves more than a 7 on technical achievements alone. The graphics are phenominal, the load times are nonexistant, the controls are so good they manage to bypass any d-pad issues, it runs at 60fps... It is exactly the kind of game that I think Sony had in mind when they created the device, this is just the first time we've seen someone actually use it to its full potential. And that's worth more than a 7 from any magazine

I understand the comment about "they tend to be harsh on a lack of originality" but this is just such a great game in its own right. There are tons and tons of modes, unlockables, characters, customization options, etc etc etc. I can say without hesitation or hyperbole that it is the greatest game on the PSP right now
