Palm strike the bottom of the jar a few times, breaks the seal and now opens with ease.

Naked Snake said:Osuwari said:- when using battery-powered devices, make sure the device runs out of energy almost completely before recharging. each time you recharge, it is one battery cycle for the battery regardles of how much the actual charge is, so you are actually maximizing the battery's life this way since the more battery cycles that a battery has, the less it lasts in the long run.
I thought this doesn't apply to Lithium Ion batteries? Which are the kind of batteries most commonly used these days.
huha said:This applies especially to LiIon/LiPo batteries. What you might be thinking of is NiCds' "memory effect," which decreases battery capacity when not charged properly (i.e. almost fully discharged and then charged again), but that's not the case here.
Loading lithium batteries is slightly complicated and has to follow a set procedure, so each load counts as a "cycle." Usually, lithium batteries can only take so many cycles due to electrode degradation. This was a real problem some years ago and can still be, but the battery will degrade over time as well, the effect of which is about as large as a large number of cycles.
Depending on your definition of battery life (they usually lose more and more capacity over time until they're nigh unusuable, so it's more a definition of cutoff than something absolute), you can expect 3 to 4 years of service from a normally-used lithium battery. High temperatures and lots of charge cycles will decrease this further, but I doubt you can run down a decent lithium battery in a short amount of time just due to improperly charging your mobile phone every day or whatnot.

After every two shots, drink a glass of water.
try it.

Even I know that and I don't drink.Kentpaul said:Everyone knows this , but hey this is gaf not much of gaf drinks.
when taking a shot of Tequila lick salt, then suck a lemon after it , it will kill the aftertaste

Ctrl+Tab to go forward
Ctrl+Shift+Tab to go back
Ctrl+W to close
Ctrl+Shift+W to close all
Never click on them again.
(Unless middle click on open space to bring a tab back (or open a new one) after you close it)

also, command+l ("L") highlights the address bar so you don't need to click like a fool. (chrome and I think firefox)
