Edys and Breyers are the "american cheese" of ice cream. GTFO with that fake shit.

I've not seen Blue Bell in MI, but Blue Bunny is very good stuff.

Yeah seriously. Its like saying you're favorite pizza is Desiorno or Dominos. That your favorite fruit juice is Koolaid. Or that the best coffee is Folgers or something instant.

I'm no expert on ice cream but Edy's makes the best tasting regular chocolate ice cream that I've ever had. I like it more than any of the typical walk in places and over anything else I've ever bought in a grocery store. If you know of a better pure chocolate that I can buy at most places please let me know, I'll give it a try.

Seriously thought this read as "Pubix" for a sec

Ben and jerrys >>>

Sorry bangladesh

Well, since this is the ice cream thread, and I haven't heard anyone mention it, anybody ever cut two different pints in halves, and rearrange them to eat opposing halves of flavor as one?

I did it a few weeks ago with two of those new Ben and Jerry's cores they're pushing now. It was like a completely different collection of flavors with every bite. I know not everybody is quite comfortable enough to admit their crazy flavors are the fucking business, or whatever, but that's cool. I'll eat it, then.

All this talk about ice cream makes me want to go and check out McDonald's new McFlurry flavors. They've recently introduced a Baci and Oreo alongside the usual.

In Finland I love this stuff:

Vanilla ice cream with long chocolate sticks in it. Sounds simple? The vanilla in it is the best tasting vanilla ever.

Mmm mmm bitch.

Blue Bell and Häagen Dazs, take your pick.

Best store bought ones I can think of.

Blue Bunny is great too, but a tier below those. I'll admit that Häagen Dazs can fall into the too sugary side depending on the flavor you get.

Pure chocolate? Alden's Organic Chocolate chocolate chip kicks the shite out of anything Edy's has ever put out and will ever put out. You should definitely try some. Like 8 dollars for a decent tub in most stores around midwest and on sale on many places at times.

Also tried all the cores of B&J and salted caramel is beautiful.

“Scotchy Scotch Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions,” Ron Burgundy said in a statement. “Malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet.”

SSS was good too.

Three Twins is on the same tier as Alden's, Graeter's, and so on.

I've only had a small portion of their wares as it has only barely popped up in my region, but what I've had bodes incredibly well as far as their Cookies n' Cream (totally different approach to Alden's) and Mint Dark Chocolate goes...

Edy's is good.

But Turkey Hill is where it's at.

The ONLY Rocky Road or Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream I will eat. Because it's the only ones that get it right.

Nice, I will have to look into this. Saw it at Whole Foods but my insane ice cream kick had ended.

Oh man that sea salt caramel of three twins has me going a little nutty. Madagascar Vanilla is always on my list too.

Some interesting stories about their ice creams. Nice website. I too have been looking all over the fucking place for organic caramel.

Literally the only shit you find in stores is plastered with facking GMO HFCS.

OMG that strawberry looks ridiculous! And he renamed his cardamom ice cream Dad's Cardamom so customers would stop pronouncing cardamom wrong hahaha.

Edys is gross, are you kidding me?

I swear they just fill that shit up with air, when it melts all you see are bubbles.

Edy's uses countless fillers to pad their products.

Slow Churned Vanilla: non-fat milk, cream, sugar, corn syrup, whey protein, buttermilk, molasses, acacia gum, carob bean gum, guar gum, natural flavors (with vanilla extract), carrageenan, annatto color

Notice near every ingredient is a fucking piece of crap. Fillers fillers fillers. Lowest quality milk you will come across no doubt, from cows in the largest factory farms they can find. As someone who has seen these dairy operations I will stick to organic thank you.

I bought $40 cold stone before and the name cold stone is cool non pun, actually why not

Anyway its mediocre as fuck compared to Edy's which I think is easily found at any supermarket

I got cookies and cream and fudge brownie

Its summer

This is an ice cream thread

You spent Fwotay Bucks on Ice Cream? Too rich 4 my blood.

Edy's is the worst. Breyer's is pretty awful too. I can stand Turkey Hill, have Ben & Jerry's from time to time.

But being from Cincinnati though, Graeter's is the best. It's expensive as shit, but if you can find some at your local store buy it. And this isn't some runny Cincinnati chili if you're only from here it tastes good deal. This is french pot hand dipped shit.

I'm also OK with the local UDF branded ice cream, because either of them taste better than what Edy's offers.
