I posted this in the Android thread, but I think it's appropriate here.

So I had my first issue with an app not functioning properly on my Transformer. What I didn't realize going in was that there isn't a discrete return policy for Android Apps through Amazon. While it sucks the Android Market dropped from 24 hours to 15 minutes (really sucks IMO - they should at least do an hour), at least it has something baked in.
For Amazon you need to click on the 'Report an Issue with this App' and select 'Contact Customer Service' and go through the process in the hope they'll refund you. Generally they will, but they don't have to. One recommendation, have your phone handy and select 'Call' immediately. I made the mistake of going by email. They end up sending you an auto-response for idiots - 'make sure you have the newest version of the game and app store ... reinstall the game ... etc.' You then have to call anyway - and the call can take a fair amount of time.
The issue here is we are in a transitional phase. There is no guarantee things will work between all OS branches, and unfortunately there is no mandate to list what OS's the content has actually be tested on. Occasionally a dev will write it in the description or say it runs on tablets, but the only definite info is the minimum OS rev - and even that doesn't currently show up in the AppStore app, just the website. Problem is, it doesn't say what beyond the minimum has been tested.
Basically I'd recommend not purchasing paid tablet apps from Amazon unless you know it's gonna work.
