Honestly, this and Retronauts are the only common 1up podcasts (audio or video) that I have to question...for the most part they're all good...so this isn't a dig against the general crew behind 1up

There's also this cool guy named Andrew Fitch in Review Crew section including some funny talk about Persona 3 - that game where kids shoot themselves int he head to use their powers.

I've never been a regular listener to the EGM podcast as it's far too much like the Wrestlemania of nerds, but I have listened to this edition and have the following thoughts.

- I think I'm starting to enjoy listening to Shane too much. He's a great member of the 1up Yours team but even when he's maybe guilty of 'phoning it in', such as this podcast, he's still a great listen, IMHO.

- Setting a Question of the Week in which the answer is a racial stereotype? Brilliant.

- Why the hell did they make such a big deal because someone from England e-mailled in? WTF?

Might check it out next week if a feature/something else takes my interest.

Just finished listening to the Condemned part and I feel like punching Shane in the nose. You only played the first three levels, Shane, shut the hell up! The last couple of levels are where the game really shines, and I haven't played anything as scary as the empty house level since Silent Hill 2. But yeah, you wouldn't know, you've already decided it's a 6.5 game after one and a half hours of play.

I wouldn't give a shit if it was some guy on the internet, but this tool works for EGM. ****.

Okay, that is just silly. I see how she might not be the best choice to be on the show as she really doesn't project her voice well, but 'a voice like cats trapped in a clothes dryer' is over the top. I really enjoy GFW because everyone is energetic and joking and laughing, and such. Jen just doesn't seem to do that, even when everyone else is laughing and joking. It is just a lil subdued with her. Nothing personal, when I first started my radio show I was similiar. Just needs to work on it, if she actually cares to get better.

To be honest, with 1up yours, the sports show and GFW on the network, you really have to step your game up to be compared favorably. But I am sure alot of people like the more laid back podcast.

I agree. Shes boring as shit and I question whether she really is a gamer. Its just depressing to hear about someone not being able to spend as much time gaming because they have a baby etc....

But other than that the podcast is great and I will surely keep listening to it.
