Nope.

Wish his butt was a little bigger but this is about as close to perfection as you can get, imo. Then again, most of my girlfriends don't seem to share my love of bulky muscular guys.

Oh, and The Rock is probably my biggest celebrity crush, so yeah.

The thing about Arnold is that whilst he looks completely unnatural and abnormal, his physique is still absolutely perfect when you looks at how proportional his whole structure is. He looks like a walking sculpture of a demigod or something. A superhuman, living, breathing work of art. You really get the sense that he did sculpt his body to perfect proportions.

So yes, while it may not be the sexiest body in the world because it is so out of touch with reality, you can see why the dude won Mr. Universe five times running.

Arnold could have taken that ape.

I think the swollen gut is due to HGH. From what I've heard, the HGH makes not only the muscles grow bigger but internal organs as well. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It's complicated.

The biggest issue with most PEDs is there there haven't been a tonne of studies done to determine exactly what the long term effects are due to the government making them incredibly illegal, so they're hard to get a hold of to do case studies with. Generally, when somebody says "roids will kill you" they're not a doctor, a user, or even a fitness expert. They're one of those anti chem people who have this belief that all the best athletes in the world are clean and their favorite sport isn't tainted (sup Lance). We know the short term effects from usage and we know that most of the short term you fix during a PCT stack

The problem you run into is two fold when using current day athletes to assume long term effects:

1. Most people use PEDs in stacks (more than one PED at a time at fluctuating amounts) per cycle (the period of time you take said PEDs). So, is that person dealing with X issue because of drug A, B, or a combo of the two (or three, or four...).
2. Working out a certain way causes your body to respond in a certain way. PEDs, generally, are used to enhance your athletic performance the same way training would. So, is X event happening because of the training, the PED, or both?
3. It's not exactly something people go to the doctor for as a long term issue.

Normally it's agreed that, yes, HGH is what causes the larger organs. However, this issues with saying that is these guys will NEVER go on record to say what they're using. Also, they're NEVER tested and there's not really a scan to check to see the swelling of all their organs. Even if they are tested, it's pre announced so cycling off is no biggie if you time it right or have a prescription for some sort of "illness." (hi, several Olympic athletes)

Honestly, steroids should be decriminalized and require a doctor's note for issue. Then, they can be studied, be clean, and be issued with proper cycling off drugs. They're already easy get, legal to get in many cases, and due to lack of information are being used in unsafe manners.

Still, however, you're not gonna find too many cases of somebody dying from steroid use. Liquor, well that'll kill ya. A needle in your glute will just shrink your balls.

All seriousness... statue of David I think is male perfection.

At least... in terms of body.

My vote goes to Steve Reeves:

It doesn't hurt that Reeves was also an incredibly handsome man. If I have a man crush, it'd definitely be him. I'd place Frank Zane in 2nd place after Reeves in terms of aesthetics, but I prefer Reeves' beefier look.

Steve Reeves is about as recent as you can get for a 100% verified drug-free physique.

Reeves was most likely on D-Bol, even back then. Supposedly he is the one who introduced Larry Scott and Kurt Marnul to the juice.

Stallone uses lots of HGH, doesn't he?

I can't imagine he uses that much, but he has used it before. He's said it's the only way he could get in Rocky/Rambo shape at 60 years old with only a little time before the movie starts filming. He's never been that huge compared to guys like Arnold though, so I can't imagine he's ever taken 'lots'.

Among other things, no doubt. But then again he's in his mid-60s.

I don't think size is really an indication of the use of steroids or, conversely, not being huge doesn't mean someone is not on juice.

Most fitness models juice quite a bit, because they need to stay very lean yet muscular year round, but they aren't bodybuilder huge.

zyzz

the king of aesthetics, no contest
also superior music taste

Genetics is such an arbitrary term to say he's got great genetics. Given the amount of compounds zyzz was on, his strength and size wasn't really impressive at all. But he was stupid and hoped on the bike almost immediately with little or no training, so who knows what his capacity for building muscle really was. As far as Muscle insertions go, Zyzz was indeed Godlike, but that's only one aspect of genetics. He could have shit tier test levels for all we know.

the guy was a shit role model who used a plethora of shit and in the end got him killed.

Edit: sorry, for some reason I read genetics(I'm tired). Zyzz was always going on about having great genes. The guy definitely had a great look.

Stallone uses lots of HGH, doesn't he?

"it's just an amino acid!"

lol tell that to Andre the giant.

Maybe its because other muscles are accentuated in the pics but Arnold lack of Traps make home look more top heavy and less rounded overall. I would say Daniel Craig looks "better" as most of his muscles look more natural and evened out altogether. Even Ryan Reynolds' body looks more shapely.

Jeff's body is actually pretty nice. He's 18 and -here comes the funny part- claims to be natural lol

Baby face aside, and horrible nipples at that, he looks pretty darn aesthetic. No Zyzz-level aesthetic, but yeah...

Not going through the whole thread, but I just want to say I'm the living proof that skinny =/= abs :(
Maybe your bodyfat is a bit high, and you're skinny because you have little muscle mass.

Jeff Seid is a fucking liar lol, but he's a fitness model he basically can't admit to steroid use. To be using these drugs as such a young age, it's definitely going to effect his endocrine system negatively, I think it already has seeing as his face looks like that of an androgynous woman. If one day he wants to only be natural, I'd imagine a lot of the muscle he gained while on steroids will start to atrophy as he won't be able to produce enough hormones to maintain his lean mass.

D-Bol didn't even exist in the 1940s when Steve was competing in Bodybuilding.

Steve Reeves has outright denied even knowing Kurt Marnul.

It's interesting though, he never publicly denied introducing Larry Scott to steroids. But... if he used D-Bol it would've been when he was an actor doing movies sometime in the 1960s. You know when Dianabol actually existed and when Larry Scott was competing, that would've been nearly 2 decades after Steve's bodybuilding career.

Lol damn that does not look natural. I find even protein supplements give muscles unnatural shapes.

Anyone have any pics of long-grown muscles? I'm talkin like skinny construction workers who don't get enough protein and have that hard-ass muscles. Once had a boss who had muscles on his inner elbows that were nearly perfectly symmetrical triangles. Honestly I've never seen anything like that. He did used to work on a farm tho so I always attributed the muscles to hay bailers and such. I would like to have these lol.

It looks like someone photoshopped this guy's face on another guy's body.

This doesn't make any sense.

This doesn't make any sense.

I can understand why it seems odd. It's just that when I used to got to lifting competitions, the folks who ate their protein had muscles that seemed more dense. Other lifters who we knew drank supplements daily had that weird "pop" to their muscles.

It seems odd, because it's wrong and makes no sense whatsoever. Protein is protein. Hell, protein from a dead animal is preferred over whey or casein protein supplements. The kind of protein you eat does not effect your body composition at all, it's protein. What you're saying is the equivalent of "this guy clearly eats ground beef, I can tell because the striations in his muscles wouldn't look like that if he were eating chicken".

Lol wtf. There's only two things you can do to alter the shape of a muscle: change its size or tear it and have it repaired with surgery. Muscle shape is determined by insertions which are determined by an individual's genetics. Same thing goes for leanness - there's only one key variable, more fat or less fat (without getting into hydration, glycogen loading etc...). Bodybuilders may look like caramelised condoms stuffed with walnuts on stage but with a bit of food and water in them they look a lot less off putting.

Glad to see that the picture of Ronnie Coleman doing the splits was already posted. The guy was a pro bodybuilder on massive amounts of PEDs and with one of the largest weight to height ratios in a contest (won't call it a sport) full of freaks and he was still faster, more flexible and more "functional" (most asinine term ever, in this context) than Brad Pitt or the guy from twilight. Where this myth (that a small to skinny person with low enough bodyfat for abdominals to show a bit is the ultimate form for physical fitness) came from is beyond me. And I say that as a slender framed male with low enough bodyfat for abdominals to show a bit - depending on what kind of week I've had ;).
