Well, in the main markets like France, Germany and Spain, it certainly is struggling.

I'll give you France, Spain and Italy. France might change soon though with Blue Dragon, the French love their anime you know.

But Europe as a whole, I wouldn't say the 360 is struggling. Uk is the most important part sales wise anyway. Just as last gen the number of 360's sold here will prob be US numbers divided by 2.

Isnt it amazing that Kawashima is still in the top ten after so many months. The same thing happened in Japan and in the to a lesser extend in the US as well. Whats also interesting is that Brain training 2 did much better in Japan than the first, and i think it will happen in the other regeons as well.

If sales = US/2 then I'd say that represents struggling. The market in Europe is roughly the same size as in the US, maybe 80%. Selling only half shows that its selling poorly compared to the US.

Not to mention that it is selling poorly in the US too. Better then Xbox maybe, but only slightly better.

And he keeps on living his dream. Seriously you'll give him France, Spain and Italy and we know for a fact that 360 is pretty much non-existant in Germany and then conclude that the 360 is not struggling in Europe? The netherlands must be a very potent market indeed.

Oh come on, it's selling well in the US. Not OMG great but far from selling poor either.

I just noticed that even though it is been advertised heavily that crap Wario DS game is not in the chartsÂ… perhaps people have taste!

Week 2 is the main sales week for all DS games, it'll likely show up then. Especially as the DS now has a top 30 chart instead of 20 :D
Disney Meteos is a bigger loss, it's a non-crap branded game.

That would be 9 Wii games in the Full Price charts. Cooking Mama for the DS and Wii are, for some unknown reason, combined on the All Price charts. On the Full Price charts, the DS version is disqualified, making #37 all Wii. I think that the first time that the Wii version alone has placed in the Top 40.

That's correct - the Wii being in stock this week helped a lot for sales of the lesser games. 7 Games in the FP top 40 is I believe a Wii record too. Saving all the units for these slow sales weeks was either madness or genius. If Mario Strikers can maintain it's top 5 position then that will be very impressive.

Anyone who says the system is constrained at the moment in the UK is wrong, it's just harder to find that X360 & PS3. Strikers however was sold out in a good few places this weekend.

Meanwhile Final fantasy V GBA which came out last week (I believe) failed to chart in the GBA top 20 and was outsold by ALEX RIDER: STORMBREAKER...
reason? no cutscenes to fap over like FFIII
- Edit, came out in April - I'm thinking of VI out later this month...

Cooking Mama at No.9 on the Wii chart entered the Full Price Top 40...the other Cooking Mama on DS is the one featured so high up on the All Price Top 40. So that'd be nine Wii games in the Top 40! :)

And wow, Wario never even made the DS Top 30 *shocked* And Picross hasn't climbed up either, despite lots of positive Press :/ Does Wario have a TV ad? I've not seen anything, personally.

Picross has appeared due to the expansion of the DS chart - I'd hoped it was hovering just outside the top 20. :D

9 Wii games - I stand corrected! Definitely a record then - if the hardware is around next week then I see some more decent sales. Pangya golf is out on Friday after all - what with Strikers being so good I haven't got time to get it really!

Otherwise not much comming out this week, Nintendo are really maximising sales by exploiting the slow season! Oh - just noticed that Forza 2 is out but already shipping from Play.com... :lol

For the record those countries, combined, total almost 250 millions people.

With Wario's lack of appearance this week, it worries me about Kirby's impending release. Power Paintbrush never made the DS Top 20, but I held high hopes for Mouse Attack (especially as I really didn't like PP, but think MA is great...).

German console charts:

1. Tomb Raider (PS2)
2. Singstar Pophits (PS2)
3. Strikers Charged (Wii)
4. Brain Training (DS)
5. PotC (PS2)
6. PES 6 (PS2)
7. Harvest Moon (DS)
8. NSMB (DS)
9. Pokemon Ranger (DS)
10. Animal Crossing (DS)

PS2 with a strong showing. Tomb Raider also topped the PC charts, people still love their Lara around here.

I'd bet on Wario creaping in the bottom of the top 30 next week, with Disney Meteos slightly higher maybe. Problem is with Wario people like me are kind of dissilusioned with the low scores it got and most of the casual people who buy the system have much bigger games around right now. It's an odd thing to think at this time of year, but with 2/3 decent titles a week the DS is almost spreading it's titles out too thinly. Custom Robo & Chocobo tales sank without trace (top 20 chart then though) and only the TV advertised and word of mouth heavy games have thrived.
