How is pizza delivery not credit/debit only.
I realize the pizza only costs a $2 to make and delivery guys are disposable, but wtf man.

Hell the places in my area have paypal now.

When I did it (late 99? 2000?) the majority of orders were cash. Over 80%. I guess nobody wants to take a risk on losing that business.

Threads like this make me fear for my life even though in 5 years I have never been robbed in my Dominos delivery job. I wish I could get a real job.

My wife was robbed at gunpoint, held on the ground with a pistol to her head. He threatened to kill her. I was on the phone with her when it happened and I knew something was wrong so I left . I drove there and got there about 5 mins too late.

He had just left. She locked the door and called 911. Up the street, he pulled the pistol
on the cop. The cop shot him in the chest and killed him. He died over 600 dollars and now my wife suffers from PTSD.

It happened last March and she still has to have doors locked behind her and she gets very freaked out in certain circumstances. I'm just glad she made it ok and the cops shot
him before I did.

Was working circuit city. We were closing and one guy kept walking around the CD/Video game section like i didnt know what to get. After last customer leaves, he picks up a cd and walks to the counter. He hops over the counter and pulls a knife on coworker who is scared shitless out of her mind at this point. He yells at me to get money out. I start putting money in the bag and hand it to him, he lets go of coworker and right as i get the money into his hand, i tackle him. We fumble around a bit, i get cut a few times times on my arms. I finally get the knife out of his hands and restrain him until cops arrive.

Guy gets arrested. I get bandaged up.

Next day i am fired. I can understand why of course, since youre never supposed to confront a robber, but i dont regret it.

And yes i have the scars.

Someone stole a pack of skittles off my desk once as a prank, then they forgot where they hid it... So somewhere in this office is a perfectly good pack of skittles, unopened, unloved, and uneaten.

Jesus christ. :( Glad she made it out okay physically, but that's a harrowing experience. :(

One of my friends was robbed at his job. He was like, "Im being robbed? Awesome! Finally some excitement! Here ya go!" and gave the robber money. He worked at a late night gas station. The robber was perplexed but took the money.

Thanks It was crazy...
He used a pellet pistol which makes it so bad. But, he had robbed some other places
with a sawed off shotgun in the last week.
We just recently got a puppy. Which the doc said was a great idea
for stress relief.

Here's the link.

Was hoping that was a link to the puppy. Blekkk. A dog should help, it's a good alarm and friend. :3

Reading the article, nobody ever talks about these - officer fired one shot and that ended it. Good officer. Right move. Glad things are good.

Show us the puppy!
