I think I'm done with this contest. I cant keep drinking soda like this, I had 21 pepsi, mountain dew, and sierra mist in this past week. It is seriously messing with me, I feel bloated, my body feels wierd, and it messed up my sleeping pattern, I'm not used to ingesting this much sugar. :lol

I got 22 codes gonna put it all in a timeslot tonight, let the chips fall where they may. *crosses fingers*Congrats once again to the winners.

If you buy a case of soda, do you get as many codes as you do cans?

can someone tell me what the fuck is wrong? when i try to enter a code it says "there was a problem with the number of points you tried to enter"

what the fuck does this mean?

I entered my codes, what gives

Right now codes are only on 20oz and 1-liter bottles. Starting in October, they'll be on 12 packs at 7-11 (2 codes each pack) and on 24 packs at Target (3 codes each pack).

Though wholesale clubs like Costco sell racks of soda for resale at huge discounts. $15 or so will net you like 30 bottles.

It tells you when you're choosing a slot. Jesus, this isn't rocket science.

Yeah, I wasn't even planning on playing so I never hit the "play sweepstakes" link. Thanks anyways...

for 9/5 5:50AM there is no winner they skipped it? WTF?!?! I played that timeslot. It goes from 5:40 and then to 6:00. Assholes. Who do I contact for this shit?

I remember them doing this before as well. Maybe it's because the person who won had a ton of referals. :lol They probably chose another winner by hand at random.

I still have hope in that it appears that the majority of the people playing this contest are fucking boneheads. The 11:00AM timeslot had like 600+ entries a couple hours ahead of time - when it got down to a few minutes before, people STILL added more codes so it topped out at like 800, when every other drawing around it had been 350-400.

Indeed, peoiple are impatient. They'd rather risk losing in a drawing 3 minutes from now than having a better chance in possible drawings tomorrow, next week or next month.

Anyhow, it'll result in better odds from the people who think things through.

That's what I'm hoping, I am holding off until I get a decent amount of codes and just hoping that the morning slots continue to stay around 400 or so. Otherwise, if every slot starts filling to 1000 or higher in the next couple of weeks it won't matter if you have the max of 500

500 entries out of 1000 = 50% chance.

You guys are starting to become seriously warped. You enter one entry in a 1000 and your odds are way better than just about every other contest of this kind.

Nah it's just unlike the early winners who didn't have to pay anything for codes, we have to pay for them regardless of the method so even a couple hundred isn't something I'd want to put into a slot that I'm not convinced I have the bigger chance at winning

Can someone explain the code thing to me? Ecrofirt was giving away 2 codes cause only 2 are allowed per account right? So then why bother buying say 30 bottles if you can only enter 2 at a time? Am I missing something?

There are a shitload of codes (700 million), but they are all unique. They are each different enough so that Pepsi knows where they come from. They're either referral codes, codes that you mailed in for, or actual "I paid to get these" codes. Those are the only ones that you can enter an unlimited amount of. If you want to go out and spend $400 on bottles of Pepsi, and enter each and every code one after the other, you can because they're legit.

The codes that Ecrofirt is giving away are the referral codes - but Pepsi put a limit on accounts so that only two of them can be used. There was no limit before, and that's how people won so easily.

Ahhh, I see now, thanks. Well, if it is like $15 for 30 bottles, and people are inputting much less in the next few weeks. I may buy like $100 worth of soda and give it to family and friends. Of course that's assuming the number of entries dies down a bit. Putting like 180 codes into a slot with 150 other entries.

What makes you think they're limiting the number of codes you can enter from mailed in SASEs? Note the phrases "no purchase necessary" and "buying Mt. Dew does not improve your odds of winning." Legally speaking I don't think they can limit the number of codes you enter from SASEs.

According to some people.

It's still not letting me enter any more referral codes into my account, and it's been well over 24 hours. This leads me to believe they've got another limit on it (like 2 per day with a maximum of 30 allowed).

Speevy, and emails yet?

So the referral link is dead, but they are allowing you to enter 2 referral codes from back then in each day? wow, this just get more complicated.

I was under the impression that once you won the contest, you couldn't win (or, therefore, enter) again. Might have misread something though.

you should still be able to redeem codes since you can earn merchandise with the additional codes

Yeah, that'd make sense. Still I'm sure the 2 referrals per day limit is an actuality.

I'd test it out myself, but I don't have any codes. :/

Someone over at TXB forum who's been one of the top posters regarding the contest contacted them and they said they'll be limiting the free code usage due to the abuse of the referral system. I'm just taking his word for it. It seems totally realistic to me.

As far as winning more than once goes, I'm pretty sure that it was stated somewhere in the rules that only one winner per household is allowed. If you have two addresses, though (like a college address and home address), I see no reason why you couldn't go for it twice.

Sigh, If my city had convience or grocery stores actually selling the X360 Pepsi products, I'd be all over this contest. :/
They'll probably be making their way out to you soon, I'd assume. Do you live a big city, suburb, or small town? I was in five or six different towns in the Boston area over the weekend and they all had the ETM bottles.

Holy shit. Someone on eBay is selling 192 caps. I'm sure the auction will get shut down like the rest, though.

I got one today and now I feel sick. Now I remember why I've sworn it off so many times throughout my life..

Hmm.. if the ebay auction doesn't get shut down, maybe you can buy it for less than a hundred. Nearly 200 codes isn't too bad a shot at all. Considering you enter the right drawing, or better, simply wait a while longer to check if numbers go down. I'm guessing they could drop to about 250 eventually. That is if the contest has already maxed out it's advertising on this and people begin to forget about it.

It only went up today, though, and it's almost to $100 already. It's going to finish waaay above that if eBay lets it.

No one has gotten it this weekend, and if you were smart, you gathered proof that you made the list (and "witnesses"). I'll just call if I'm not e-mailed/confirmed tomorrow.
