Existing games you would like to have VR

Bushido Blade, Elders Scroll, Kings field, House of the Dead, Time Crisis... Platformers all of them!

Afrika and aquanaut's holiday VR!!! OMG these would be amazing in VR.

Most open world games, the problem there in being with VR and locomotion.

Journey, Tearaway, Splatoon...

Ultimately though, shoehorning HMD capabilities into old games isn't going to help VR as much as people creating new experiences for the medium. That mindset was what got the Vita into trouble early on.

My first thought upon playing RIGs and seeing the UI is "Man, a VR metroid prime would be the best!"

Then I remembered how Nintendo deals with VR and Metroid :(

Journey
Gravity Daze
Jumping Flash
SotC
Ico
Jak and Dexter
Resident Evil 4
Wipe Out
...

(not counting Nintendo ips obviously)

On consoles, Mirrors edge (the original), Child of Eden, Portal 1/2, maybe some other FPS and such? I haven't used VR yet, but the reason for that is a lack of 'full' games to play on it, if they did some VR remasters i'd actually be interested.

I can handle a lot when it comes to motion sickness (I played Quake 2 from start to finish in VR), so I'd like the option to play just about every polygonal game in VR.

Most of the old move games would make the jump well, im suprised only Tumble was bought over. Id buy sports champions just for ping pong

The
4th wall breaking
would be even more mindblowing in VR

Not very many would translate well, but what I do want is something akin to a VR model viewer hub - a promotional item that lets you interact with 3D models (at scale) from various games/IP.

Arkham VR letting you stand face-to-face with several key characters from that universe was kinda amazing. Imagine if sony made a piece of software that just let you go into a 'last guardian room' and see trico to scale, standing (and moving) right in front of you? And that same piece of software lets you enter a horizon room and see those robo dinos face to face. Neither of those games would work well in VR but I think it'd be amazing to interact with the characters from those worlds.

Skate
Antichamber
The Witness

The Talos Principle
This too, the Destinations scenario the devs made makes me wish they could convert the whole game to work in VR.

Metroid Prime works in VR via Dolphin and it feels like shit IMO. It's like you're driving a floating arm rather than being in the world.

Bioshock (1)

No Man's Sky (would go from 'okay' to 'this is fucking awesome').

Metroid Prime. It begs for it.

> Get DolphinVR with Vive/Rift
> profit

This is a good pick, but I'll forever go back to saying that VR is PERFECT for a new Panzer Dragoon. So that.

These would both be vomit comet unless you made them first person or made them boardgamey, which probably wouldn't work

Wipeout
Mario Galaxy (the mix of the different planets with standard and motion controls woould be perfect)
Final Fantasy Tactics
Rouge Squadron
Something from That Game Company
Unfinished Swan

However I would want them all to be freshly built from scratch not ports.

All current games which can be played in first person perspective. Especially GTA (VR version would be enough to convince me to buy GTA 5 for the third time).

Armored Core, G-Police, and a dungeon crawler - something like Wizardry Tales of the Forsaken Land.

Dungeon crawlers would be perfect for VR. They'd be more immersive if you could look around the dungeon and be overwhelmed by the architecture and size of the monsters -- but because you move on a grid, no real motion sickness.

Great point! A Legend of Grimrock VR game would be awesome.

Titanfall, Mirror's Edge, Shadow Warrior 2, Dying Light, Battlefield 1 and a first person version of Max Payne 3 with full motion controls.

If I named the things I would do for just one of these, I would either be banned or tagged.

Can't think of any, outside of cockpit based games, that would do well in VR at all.

VR is for VR designed content.

Portal 1,2
Journey
GTA5
Elite Dangerous
Mirror's Edge
Wipeout
*title racing here*
Machwarriors 2
Z.O.E.
Pikmin

Skyrim or Fallout 4 or any other immersive first person rpg.

Wipeout. I wish there was vr wipeout so bad. Driveclub is fun and all but wipeout would be so amazing.

Motorstorm. NMS and X-Wing series have already been called.

Oh, and the original, 90s Doom. With pixelated graphic and stuff.
