They said that no evidence that they have right now leads them to believe that they are connected. The fact that they could be connected isn't enough. We have to let the investigators do their jobs. We will undoubtedly know more tomorrow.

The term "terrorism" has taken a very different intention and tone ever since 9/11, so it's not really all that strange. I took a cab home earlier from 17th st and 10th ave up to 38th and 9th, and our cab driver kept complaining that the traffic was because of the "terrorists bombing Chelsea".

Whoever sets a bomb inside a trashcan, detonates it, injuring 29 people, is a terrorist. Don't care if he's part of some extremist group or not. He used violence to intimidade, hurt and spread fear and chaos. That's terrorism. You don't need to have political purposes for that.
