Ugh, I thought this might have been a cool idea from Naughty Dog themselves. I can see a prequel starring Sully being potentially great though as he is a very likeable character.

But I would want it set back a long time ago. Like in 1975.

they do have some good ones but they pretend their old PSone IPs doesn't exist for some reasons.

Ape Escape, Jumping Flash,Motor Toon ,Okage,PoPoLoCrois

will be nice to see new sequels for them also Folklore/Folksouls can be more kid friendly and turned to a full Pokemon clone for Vita I guess.

It would be an Uncharted prequel detailing Sully's passionate romance with Gabriel Roman, and how their relationship falling apart led to Roman's bitter attitude towards Sully in the first Uncharted. It was never about the money, it was always about Roman being unable to let go of what had been, always desiring what could have been, but never was.

I originally teased this idea in the new God of War project thread but I wanted to start a thread to gauge interest. I'm sure there are other fellow GAFFERS that have thought about this as well.

Nathan Drake is not the only star of the Uncharted game. I find Victor Sullivan to be an interesting character full of mystery and full of potential stories that can be realized with a dedicated title by either Naughty Dog or Sony Bend. He is both likeable and a jerk. He is smart yet reckless. This is the perfect formula for a character that is mentor and father figure to Drake. He can be the James Bond of this franchise while Nathan is arguably the Indiana Jones.

What do you think GAF?

Back to the point of changing the protagonist. There is absolutely no issue with this. It's been done before and very successfully.

A prequel featuring a younger, relatively inexperienced yet no less intrepid Sully needs to happen.

Uncharted should be about Drake. Sully is a good supporting character but the franchise is not about him. I'd rather play a completely new ND game than any Uncharted spin off.
