I like these hip gamer folks more than Nintendo's hip gamer models.

Thumb ring is a hawt touch. Hawaiian-inspired print shirt, irony +100.

Nintendo needs to step it up with their next gen models.

I just want to know more about that camera. Apparently it is able to output video in HD(it looks that way at least). So are they actually going to be able to sell that thing for $60 or less?

Awsome, I totally have my tv right next to my kitchen table like that! It won't be awkward to hook up At All!

The first picture looks wrong. Why is the hand pointing on the television set and not in the actual scene.

I hear the Japanese have really tiny...uh...apartments.

This concept could be interesting for something like Magic the card game if they could ever figure out how to do it right.

This idea seems vaguely interesting. Do you play this game in real life and just watch battles on tv? Or is it an actual game that you play on the tv with real life elements?

hah, that looks cool . But will it be fun also?

I'm more impressed with the EyeToy in general. I think a lot of developers need to start working on titles for the camera as it could provide for some really innovative gameplay.

let me guess, ms have chuck norris to model their games

That setup seems awkward... Does it come with a camera and a camera holder, and a bunch of cards and a play mat or what?

no 3D porn movie starring YOU inside the movie.. with real time body parts deformations if you are'nt quick enough to win the bonus price.

remember that cell demo where they put a camera on your face and there was real time face deformation and haircut change ..

It definetly comes with the cards (you can't play the game without them) so the board will likely come with it also. I'm not sure about the Eyetoy or its stand yet. They haven't really gone into too much detail as to everything you'll get with it.

man, this bump had my hopes of new media. :/

but yeah, this game is real, supposedly spring 07 is when it should arrive. my guess is february/march.

Looks like it'd be a pain to drag out and setup for the n'th time but it also looks like one of the best uses for next-gen tech I've seen so far - something about this game is really appealing to me.

this game just looks incredible.. i bet it costs a tonne what with the camera and the cards (the re will probably be seperate booster packs) so i'll more than likely never own it :(

Setup might be an issue, but that's still really friggin' cool! Imagine if Nintendo did this with Pokemon, complete with an accompanying CCG at $5/pack. They'd earn enough money to fund the Wii 2 with the profit from that venture alone.

The only bad thing about this game is that I'd rather not have the nonsense of the board and tangible cards. The graphics and stuff look cool, but since it's essentially a board game in real life and you look over at the tv to get some added effects and such? It's going to bomb horribly if it ever comes here. I'd rather have it incorporated in the video game. If you're going to mix the real world in, you need to find a much better way to do it.
