Whats the difference between the silver eyetoy and the orginal black one? besides color and size of course, is there any real difference between them?

I dont think so, I believe its the natural course of miniturzation of technology allowing them to make the item smaller. Color probably makes them stand apart.

I have both. They're virtually the same, except they are different internally. There may be differences, but I never noticed them.

The silver one is the newer one, for what it's worth.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to get one used before the ps3 drops (I figure I will only use it for a few months until the new ps3 camera comes, so why buy it new?). I guess the black one should be the one for the lowest price, assuming I can find one used at a local gamestore.
