They need to ban Alcoholic drinks period. No good comes of it. Except for getting laid of course... which pretty much means it will never be banned.

Oh, please. Maybe nothing good comes of your run of the mill college-age drinking binges, but if you take away an adult's ability to enjoy an amazing glass of wine or a good martini then you'll have riots - and I'll be among them.

Of course, a great many people never grow beyond drinking anything they drank during college, which is ridiculous.

In any case, does the FDA even have jurisdiction here? I mean, they might be able to get caffeine+alcoholic drinks off the market but still aren't able to tell me whether that "herbal supplement" I can buy from pretty much any grocery store is actually Vitamin E or just encapsulated horse manure?

Sparks is not at all off the market.

It doesn't have caffeine in it any longer, but it is most definitely available at many stores.

The Orange cans are caffeine free but the Sparks Plus with the black label still have caffeine in them (at least all the ones I've seen lately). Could be old stock or something though.

those premade drinks are all garbage and red bull is terrible with or without liquor in it.

if you want to drink and stay awake, do coke and drink straight liquor like an adult (tonic water with your vodka / gin if you must)

However, don't take away my Jager and Red Bulls (not the stupid frat boy shot, the drink that you can sip and enjoy while conversing with your friends, not shoot and yell "WHOOOOOOOOOO!")

It should be. Vodka and jager should be mixed exclusively with Red Bull if you go the energy drink route.

Yeah unfortunately its just old stock. An easy way to tell if you're buying the REAL Sparks is to check for the "+" sign.

It's funny because you can still buy clove cigarettes. Only difference is they wrap them in tobacco instead of paper and call them cigars. They taste exactly the same, you just have to drive to a proper cigar shop to get them. Such a fucking stupid piece of legislation.

grape Grey Goose is the only liquor that i've found makes Red Bull bearable. My new drink of choice is Arnold Palmers's half ice tea/half lemonade mixed with Jack. Its magical.
