I played all three, and watched my girlfriend at the time play through them as well. I know exactly what they look like . I completely disagree with you, as I think theyve nailed the tone completely. the 30 minutes you shared is primarily talking to NPCs. I am confused.

Heres some of the comedic talent in the game. I am sure there will be comedy.

• Richard Ayoade: Plays Dave, a gardener-turned-giant. He is best known for The IT Crowd and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
• Matt King: Voices Humphry, a retired hero. He is celebrated for playing Super Hans in Peep Show.
• Nathan Foad: Plays a character named Jacob. He is an acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer known for Bloods and Newark, Newark.
• Natasia Demetriou: Plays Jenny. She is famous for What We Do in the Shadows and Stath Lets Flats.
• Susan Wokoma: Voices Arden the Cobbler. She is well known for her roles in Chewing Gum and Truth Seekers.
• Nina Wadia: Voices Grandma. She is a veteran of the sketch show Goodness Gracious Me and EastEnders.

Im not talking about SPECIFIC COMEDIANS.

Just the entire way of talking for every npc. They are boring and bland. Just to be expected from the people behind Forza Horizon.

Just because there are comedians in the game (super hans is fkn awesome) doesnt make it funny if its written bland and boring, like literally every interaction shown in this 30 minutes.

now if you said, Jimmy Carr, Lee Mack, Dara o brien, Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey, Aisling Bea, Sandy toksvig, Ricky Gervais, Joe Wilkenson, Noel Fielding, Bob mortimer and so on and so forth, pretty much any of the actual comedic greats of Britain then you would have a case.

I loved the part where Megan stood almost perfectly still for minutes with her arms hanging next to her, while the hero makes her his girlfriend. She just utters some voiceline and keeps standing there like a complete idiot.

Not a kiss, not a hug, her arms hanging by her side like a sack of potatoes. Not a single animation

She just says what a lovely couple we'll make

Without ever having touched the main character.

Oh man what a completely immersive experience, rich in animation and realistic npc behaviour!

It's impossible to make a genuine Fable with "romance" when actual romance is not allowed unless it's the woman taking the initiative or they are not straight.

Are we just going to ignore how ambitious this is for side content? This isn't even the main hook of the game! Managing businesses, buying real estate, relationships built on memory... credit where it's due, this looks incredible. Imagine how that memory mechanic scales into the main game. Will enemies remember you, despise you, or admire you based on your choices?

By saying this average looking trailer is "incredible" your don't the exact same thing as the people you're complaining about - except being positive instead of negative.


Onto the graphics. Playground Games is actually awful at making natural environments. What they do is create 1-2 versions of specific foliage. They then put that plant all over the place in big sections. The foliage repeats over and over.

My guess is they do it to save time. once you start to notice it though you realize how fake and awful the environments really are. You can see countless examples of this in the Horizon games.

Go back and watch this gameplay trailer and you'll see it in the environment parts.

If you've seen 10 ft of any specific environment in the Horizon games, you've seen all of it. It will just repeat over and over.

Well, they did show some of that in previous trailers and the mini deep dive earlier this year. They must have their reasons for introducing the first real in depth gameplay demo this way.

But these developers just want to add ugly people in their games and remove any trace of beauty (probably personal projection) and on top of it they want to remove any sort of physical features in female npcs that resembles a woman.

And these people are the ones calling and preaching for diversity and inclusion which is absolutely absurd and hypocritical because they purposefully remove from their games an entire portion of the population or even worse, which is taking good looking people and making them uglier because of their sick ideologies

The girl he went out with was hot, so was the girl he fired. The player character also seemed good looking. You think differently? The player character is even a white male and you're still madge.
