Fable Legends for Xbox One announced, UE4, online-only, 4 player co-op [Up: Trailer]

Online only, hm...
Could accept that if there would be a good reason. Don't think there is one though.
A real MMO would have been nice.
 
So this is what one Lionhead team is working on, and I'm sure they have another team working on an unannounced game.

Edit. Game looks promising, I've always liked how MS experiment with thier IPs.
 
Sounds cool to me have to see first is there more information then only 4 player coop.
I would love this to be loot heavy. Something like diablo or borderlands.

Or will it be somethign like Crimson Alliance?

I do hope its loot focused. If they strip out the aging stuff and how you mold your character, it may as well not be a Fable game.
 
Glad to hear that you can still play this solo if you wish, with the other characters being taken over by the AI and the player being able to swap between his four characters. Not sure if that means the Villain can be replaced by the AI as well?
 
Even though I am getting a PS4 and not a Xbox One at launch I will still keep an eye out for this game. It seems to be going back to what I love about Fable.
 
This is sounding like a Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault esqe side game but Microsoft said it's fully featured so one can hope it will be. If they take out the aging and character development that make Fable.....Fable then why bother using the name.

Man, why can't they just release a proper Fable like the first (and some positive additions from the 2nd) one? :(
Online-only coop sucks.

I want a good old Fable Adventure game.

I just want some for of rpg.
Would be cool if the first few dungeons/starter instances you started as a child.
And the more you progress through the content you get older.

Make some shitty story about you being adopted by the heroes guild.
But from what i remembered fable wasn't that strong on boss encounters hope they can fix it in this version only really played Fable 1 and a bit of fable 2 didn't like that they went with guns and stuff.

That would be very cool. A pretty unique was to show character progression.

Yeah, the focus on Ranged combat as overpowered spells pretty much ruined Fable.
 
Online only, wtf I thought it couldn't get bad after fable 3 but this just totally outdoes it.

Can't believe I'm saying this but bring back Peter .
 
I hope we get to pick from a wide variety of minions as the villain.

I want the heroes of Albion to quake with fear as I unleash my horde of demonic chickens.

Now I'm intrigued. Hands down my favorite MS IP. Got the general sense at E3 that more than just one Fable is coming though. Is this retail?
 
im not against buying an xbox one, i just hate kinect, i really hope the sales of the console bomb so MS can finally release the so rumored kinectless console, i would buy that day one, this looks good as all lionhead CG trailers, will wait for more info
 
I love online RPGs but Fable 3 was garbage and if this is anything like that game then lol.

Plus, Fable 1 and 3 had tiny worlds. That's not going to work for an online rpg.

Another team is working on Fable remake. Lionhead isn't that huge, so that is probably all they are working on right now. Maybe another game in early concept phase.

cant wait to pay 60 dollars to see how much of a let down the new fable is

I've done it twice before (and 50 for the first one) so I might as well keep that trend going
