Fable Legends mulitplayer beta begins October 16.

They put on twitter yesterday they'll be sent today. Who knows when, but I'm guessing they'll update twitter again when they've gone out.

And this is pretty much the only mistake you can do with this game. It is not Fable 4 - and it does not want to be Fable 4.

Don't judge the game on something it isn't - judge it on what it is. A (primary cooperative) experience with heavy focus on teamplay, abilities and strategy elements. Much more comparable to a game like Diablo 3 as an example. It was really fun and has that "just one more round" feel.

I signed up a long time ago, hope i get in. Enjoyed the game when I played it earlier this year hope you guys do too
 
When i see Fable and multiplayer something breaks inside me.

We are getting further away from Fable 1 with every new game, any hope for a come back of the original promise is zero

That said and all grief aside, this could be a fun little title for what it is
 
Sorry for the bump, but I've been severely out of touch with this game and have a question.

Is the beta still currently going? I know it started in October, but the beta sign up page is still live.

Pretty sure it's an ongoing thing. Wish they would sent out more invites though.

The beta is beginning small, but will add thousands more this year, and next.

I've mentioned before, but I'll say again - the Legends beta isn't a demo or marketing event as many betas are today. So we're not just two months out from release, and just testing our servers. Well, we will be doing that too, but the point is to get feedback on a game that is very much still in production. Testers will be seeing unfinished content (often without final assets, art, or animation) so that they can feedback that actually can change the game in development.

A: Yes. There are many you can make Heroes in “Fable Legends” your own. You’ll be able to customize Hero abilities, and make decisions about what they should specialise in as they grow in experience and power. Visually, you’ll be able to change several details of your Hero’s appearance by calling on the local hairdresser or magical make-up artist. Finally, your Hero may find new armours, weapons, and other treasures.

At E3 one of the people from Lionhead eluded to that kind of customization when I pressed them. Really excited for this one.

Just a heads up, I literally just received an email containing a beta code, so hopefully more people start getting it too.
