here is Saudi Arabia ( and most of the middle east ), they still sell the Famicom ( its called Family Computer )

unlike the original famicom, this controller can be detachable and put new controller
also..it was available in too many colors ( the Gray was my favorite ) and greed and orange
and it was actually loaded with 100 different games

awesome thread...

my contribution. Fake chinese iPad with fake chinese Steve Jobs included.

EDIT: I know an ipad is not a "console", but you can play games on it... so... yeah...

Holy shit man!
If copying a product wasn't bad enough, they are also copying people?

This thread makes me a little sad... because I'm just picturing money-tight parents buying these for their kids because they don't know any better and then the kids unwrap the presents only to see this mess.

I wouldn't mind owning that Arabian Famicom, though :P It comes in blue and with 100 games (which I'm going to assume are actual Famicom games).

Dude, years ago I lived in Saudi and got one of these. Mine was a bright florescent green and had a couple bagillian games built in as well. I remember it was wireless A/V and swear that thing actually worked. You plugged in something that looked like a car antenna on the console and another into the back of the TV and it would actually work up to a few feet. Could explain why my TV crapped out shortly after though...

Does anyone know of fake 8bit/16bit systems that accepts the cartridges and peripherals of the consoles they ape that has no power brick and can be run for 5 - 8 hours at a time?
