I'm not sure why but I expected Sora no Woto to be something like Escaflowne. Lolis piloting mechas in post apocalyptic earth.

Instead it turned out to be K-ON, both in design and in pacing and in characterization.

Honestly, I just like all the haters gonna hate gifs. If people start making "critics most certainly will criticize" gifs, I'll be all for that.

I don't know, because K-On!! 27 was announced a long time ago so I have no idea why this is now news. Unless it wasn't official until now.

Speaking of which, I just found out that K-On has official Mandarin and at least two Cantonese dubs. I think I'm about to go down the rabbit hole again. :lol

Well "haters gonna hate" is always one angry mod away from being thrown down the banned meme hole, so that might be necessary.

After listening to Fantastic Children's fantastic soundtrack it occurred to me that this story might be even more mono no aware than Gunbuster.

Also, K-On in Chinese is so a mind screw. It's much more localized than I thought it would be (I'm sure the honorifics haters would love the Canto dubs :lol).

Yeah, she does. She either gets better in Episode 2 or I just went deaf and can't notice her nasal whine.

Mat it continue to be glorious.

I expect maybe we'll be getting some fan art after this episode.
 
I wish Utena had duel wielding. Utena could like, pull out swords from Wakaba and Himemiya's chests at once!

The framerate wasn't actually any lower than a normal anime. It's just the exaggerated movements and tight camera angles make it more noticeable.

I guess I'm kind of like the only person in the whole world that doesn't want animu adaptations of his favorite manga series. A genuinely good Japan Tengu Party Illustration anime would be badass, but I'm sure that such a project would never the staff or the budget necessary to make it genuinely good.
 
Haruhi could have been so great if it was about a depressed girl who has a friends who try to cheer her up. Her dreams could have come to life plunging the world into ruin and despair. Her club would try to save her from herself. Theyw ould take her on trips and make a movie. In the end she would fall in love with that guy and be happy. It even would have worked with the time-traveller, esper, and robot or whatever. (sp)

It could have been an amazing show.

It could have been more real. The moe-thing ruined the show too. Haruhi was a shitty character as well. Thinking about it, the superbeing aspect of the show was horrible. The only one who should have had any special ability was Haruhi. It needed to be sadder, with the only comedy coming from the club trying to help.
