They really stepped up their animation.

The spoiler-concern is absolutely nothing but an assertion that their viewing experience trumps your social experience. That's why it's near-unique to nerd culture, it combines a disregard for the social experience with an assumption that one's relationship with a show is based primarily on the database it populates rather than its execution.

It survives because, when entering a social context populated primarily by people who believe this, those with the competing instinct to optimize the social experience at the cost of the viewing experience will comply and contribute to a harmonious discussion even though it means they can't easily discuss until after their memories have faded.

It is impossible to define good rules because everyone has their own pet database.

What if I'm more interested a in database of critiques and opinions rather than on the plot points of the show itself? lol

Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
dat animation.

I can only imagine how perfect the physics in the DoA games are in the future.

Aight so, I'm hella hella late on this, but how the heck does this make it into the final product?

I guess it's pretty minor, but damn man, that FACE. And what's up with the droids in the end of the episode having crime coefficients? They only do as their programming directs them to, so unless Sybil can detect malicious code, stuff seems like an asspull (aka I'm nitpicking).

Then, of course, you'll happily view screencaps, but howl in rage if someone reveals that a favorite commentator tweeted "don't have a good feeling about this :|" right before the show in question aired!

Or something. I've seen people do that.

Finally back to anime, after seeing the incredible twilight breaking dawn part 2, I can only hope they pursue an anime route for it next (since they already have the manwha or whatever from kim for it). Worth it for action and Jacob scenes and interactions with Edward, alone.

K - Animate Girls’ Festival - private interview 1 (isana/kuroh)

Pretty good just for learning more information on the characters (Im one cm shorter than Isana :/ ) and well just having fun with them interacting, can never get tired of Isana and Kuroh and the cooking scene was funny and touching in a way.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) 7

I was not ready for that, absolutely not
Why Zeppeli?! I had grown attached and stuff only to see him ripped in half, ugh
. Really memorable.

Outside of that, it was hard to get into the episode, action just wasnt really compelling here or maybe it was the antagonist. Best moment
Straits, awesome design, please tell me he appears again considering, people seem to suggest next episode is end of this arc.

Hentai sucks unless you get off to badly drawn and animated porn. It's the cheap seats.
I suppose that is why Mr. Urushihara makes every producer bankrupt. Not much to gain from that market except razor-thin profits?

Pop Chaser is a historically significant work and should be watched by all.
I can certainly attest for that! Essential japanese animation work.

So was a consensus reached on spoiler etiquette or is duckroll's "protect yourself if you don't wanna get spoiled and if you do then deal with it" approach cool with everyone?

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.

No don't be silly, we don't reach consensuses here.

I'm fine with the latter because I think people here are nice enough that they won't go out of their way to spoil big surprises for people.

So I finished the original 26 episodes of Evangelion, and am now at the last point I was when last I watched the show. I remember vaguely watching 1.11 and 2.22, but that was a long time ago, and I don't remember much beyond how the second film ended and Shinji
attacking NERV HQ
.

Anyway, I've got two things here to watch before starting in on that, I guess. So uh, which do I watch first? Death and Rebirth or End of Evangelion?

You don't need to watch Death and Rebirth if you watched the socalled "director's cuts" of the TV series. Just watch End of Evangelion (even if it is vastly inferior, etc etc).

Sword Art Online 20

Though this should have been the first legitimately good episode of ALO, it instead resolved itself into merely being average, riddled with a plethora of unavoidable narrative and pacing flaws. As such, once again, this episode was poorly paced. The first half was quite good and thoroughly enjoyable, but the latter half was dreadfully slow and uneventful, littered with dull exposition and minuscule, trite "developments".

The fight was highly engaging and considerably impressive, but it's brevity was a bit underwhelming. However, this sequence was excellently choreographed and impressively animated, and definitely my favorite moment from the episode. Of course, these rare action sequences have provided the best aspects throughout this arc by far, which only illuminates how terribly monotonous and uninteresting the majority of developments in ALO are, especially when compared to SAO, which, at the very least, had a modicum of tension and intrigue.

Lyfa's intermittent realizations of
love for Kirito
and the occasional flickers of jealousy are laughably bad, since the only slight form of satisfaction I can derive from these inconsequential displays of emotion is solely due to the inevitability of
her glorious suffering once she realizes the truth of Kirito's identity
. The fanservice was ridiculously abundant throughout, and, though it didn't particularly detract from the episode in a significant manner, it's increased prevalence and occasional focus is quite unnecessary and excessive, but Lyfa apparently needs some sort of role in the story, so it clearly seems that this is all that she can provide.

The character interactions are consistently tedious and unconvincing, which is rather disappointing, but it distinctly appears that there's very little room for a believable sort of engaging chemistry when Lyfa is involved. As such, in their brief appearances,
Sakuya and Alicia
established themselves to be far better than Lyfa. It's an immense shame they couldn't accompany Kirito in her stead.

Thankfully, Asuna's contrived, pointless isolation and the momentary damage to her characterization has been temporarily reconciled by
her escape at the end of this episode
. Of course, I certainly expect
her victory
to be disappointingly short-lived, since
her attempts will likely fail
, due to the inescapable fact that Kirito's unparalleled strength and determination will simply have to be fully portrayed by his ability to rescue the weak and hopelessly captive damsel in distress.

All in all, despite the solid execution, Sword Art Online is disappointing and heavily flawed even during the better episodes of this arc, since ALO is perpetually unable to elevate beyond the horrible material it's adapting. The narrative is needlessly and artificially stretched, as it consistently falters into a repetition of meaningless diversions, which consequently forces the story into a seemingly subdued unimportance, lacking any significant weight and noticeable momentum. Really, though these last two episodes have been noticeably better than those that came before, they weren't exactly necessary to the larger story, aside from the ending to this episode. Though I should probably possess a somewhat heightened confidence in the narrative progress, since ALO managed to miraculously deliver two decent episodes in a row, I'm not looking forward to the next episode at all, as it will be particularly awful, but, of course, that can be said for the remainder of this arc, save for a portion of the ending and
Suguha's tears
.

the backgrounds in SAO are still nice to look at
they should just have scrolling backgrounds and call it background art online

It was a panning shot that panned diagonally, and the character cells panned faster than the background :p

I can tell
im impressed that you actually created a screencap out of a bunch of screencaps
