I remember playing the Alpha and talking to one of the devs saying, 'Hey, why do all the cars control like slip and slides with really bad input delays?' they claimed it was because I was in the NA, but the alpha was on EU servers(btw, I listed myself as NA but they invited me to the alpha anyways)

Checked back in the beta, still there.

Never bought it on release because of that. Dodged a bullet there.

The fact that I follow gaming sites regularly and no known of the answers tells me how much effort was put into marketing the game.

That was a different game, I think it's a GTA clone and yeah, it's out and pretty terrible from what I heard.

i hate it when people reduce family guy to these jokes. sure, they have had episodes full of them, but then there are episodes that have maybe one or two.

No. Sometimes the "jokes" don't even have punch lines, just "hey remember when..."

One particularly egregious example referenced Top Gun, played Highway to the Danger Zone and showed Tom Cruise flying in a jet. That was it. There was no joke, just, hey Tom Cruise was in this movie this one time.... The show is complete shit, it lacks the mythical substance called funny, and is without merit. Bad shit needs to be pointed out, lest more bad shit be made.

You're thinking of Reloaded, which was a F2P version that was released after the original game tanked and was shut down.

i dont know the clip you are referencing, but well, sometimes the cutaway gags are pretty creative and funny enough on their own. and since the last 3 seasons basically cut them down to a smaaaall amount of clips, the quality got even better compared to seasons maybe 4 years ago or something.

Opening mission was a fetch quest, the writing was abysmal even for FG standards, and I gave up right after that

Psychonauts and Portal are two of the best, funniest games. A lot of the Lucasarts games as well

Family Guy was a shitty browser based mmo, most of which launch to the public in beta form for years before they ever decide to remove the tag. Most browser mmos have no transition from beta period to an actual launch. Family Guy was already up an operational taking player money. As said by mechwarrior Onlines devs, Open beta for free 2 play games is essentially the launch now.
