KitN PSP? I'm guessing you use the analog to control the wisp? I never thought I'd see the day where the stylus could be more accurate for a game. :lol

Ooh 2009 Top 100 software?!?

Now there is some news!

I bet Canvas Curse would be loads of fun without the stylus.

Well, yeah, I didn't say there aren't better examples. But they aren't being ported. :p

... I'm pretty interested to see how they work KitN PSP. I really doubt the analog nub is going to be able to do half of what the stylus can - it'd be like playing Trauma Centre with analog sticks.

What's the Mario cover about?

I eagerly await the top 100 of 2009 list, though I know that'll be nothing next to the eventual 500 list.

Anything about a SB3 release date?

Not clear from the scan (it's out now), but we do have 3 new character confirmations.

Yoshiro Shimazu
Tsuruhime
Kuroda Kanbei

Also, it's official - Sarutobi Sasuke and Katakura Kojuuro are both NPCs now. T_T

Well, they share the same title, and they are in the same issue, not to mention on the very same page...

I thought that was known? It was in some site's ESRB update, GTI Club Supermini Festa! is supposed to be for PSP and Wii. (Although Konami has done all of its press releases as if there were only the Wii version, I wonder why? Maybe the PSP version is only on PSN?)

Come on Square Enix, at least give us info on the combat system/ more jobs. Even an estimate month when the PC beta will start will do.

RPGツクール; RPG School -> RPG Maker in the US.

What are the chances of this getting an english release? Enterbrain brings over the PC version even with all of the piracy of the previous versions and I've never seen a console/handheld RPG Maker release.

The PS1 and PS2 RPG Makers were brought out in the USA by Agetec. I think the PS1 version sold alright but the PS2 versions didn't, so that's probably the end of that.

Rumor

Dengeki EoE score: 75 95 85 90
In my experience with Dengeki, any individual score that is 75 or less is a hidden warning, translating to "please play demos or watch more gameplay videos before you make your purchase decision".

FWIW, an individual 70 or less in Dengeki translates to "don't touch this rubbish. Please ignore the other numbers - they're only there for political purposes."

The demo was pretty fun, and showed lots of potential, so I'm not worried.

Knights getting ported isn't terribly surprising given Sting's history, but I'm not too sure how well this one will work out.

Riviera and Yggdra Union were obvious candidates for porting not only because their gorgeous visuals could really shine with higher resolutions but also because they had to present a ton of information management in a cramped real estate. Obviously Knights will also look pretty great on the PSP, but the second point isn't really applicable. And given how fully integrated, effective, and well implemented the stylus controls were, it will be an odd conversion to say the least.

I saw the scan, it's pretty blurry but it doesn't look like there is a date yet.

Previous issues have only pointed to one thing: This summer.

So, in any case, we got a while to wait.

At first I was appalled by the Knights in the Nightmare announcement. Just yesterday I was telling a friend there was no way it could have been made for the PSP and be the same game. Now today I see this. After thinking about it a couple minutes, I am now more curious than anything. I wonder if they'll drop the bullet hell gameplay and make it more straight up srpg with the same plot. I might buy it then. I just can't see the bullet hell aspect being as engaging in the psp version.

I don't see the full list but #100 is RE5 360 at 123,817.

That cover is nice, but I don't recognize a few of those Marios. Can anyone point out which games these Marios are from?

Cowboy Mario is from Mario Party 2. Don't know about the other ones.

EDIT: I think the second from the bottom-up is from Sluggers.

I'll be grabbing the issue and transcribing the top 100 within an hour or so.

Sales-Age waiting crisis averted, hopefully
