When I saw the score I laughed my ass off XD

I can't get into that game the same reason I avoided Dragon's crown so far.... I can't take the art style.

Also, 30 fps.

Its not a fighting game, its a JoJo game.

This, and it's why I'm getting it, bonus points if the gameplay actually ends up being good.

...and come one if they made 60 FPS, everyone would swoon and faint from the fabulousness, so they had to sacrifice something for players to actually finish a round!

This game could be the hottest shit since Pong and this score would still be as meaningless as if they had given it a 4 out of 40. Famitsu scores were always crap, but I thought people's fascination with them had at least died down in the past six years.

The Capcom PS2 Jojo's game is a general action game that focuses on Part V.

There is also a PS2 Jojo's game distributed by Bandai that is a similar general action game which focuses on Part I.

The first one was for arcade and PS1.

Dreamcast as well.
The DC / Arcade version was recently made available on PS3/360.
The PS1 version does the best it can to replicate the CPS3 original game. To make up for it, there's a lot of extra content added in the form of minigames and the like which help flesh out more of the storyline from Part III.

Nobody is suddenly interested in this game as a result of this review. Jojo fans have wanted this game regardless.

That doesn't make the fact that this game gets a 40 any less surprising, as irrelevant as it is. I wouldn't have predicted that they would have given that grade.

Same dev as the Naruto games but this is their attempt at a more traditional fighter. It's 30FPS and there are stage hazards and whatnot though. It's packed with fanservice.
