Fanservice: Anyone remember THAT Dragon's Crown Amazon figure? (MUSCLE WARNING)

Yeah just saw this abomination on AmiAmi. Looks really bad.

I don't understand who thought it would have been a good idea to make that ugly figure and so late.

Luckily there are already better figures for those who want them

This is much much better figure.

I really like the one in the OP, I think it's legit interesting to look at as a sculpture. It's all legs, trunk, arms, with the feet hands and head existing almost inconsequentially. The whole piece seems to be an exploration of extremes, akin almost to using create-a-character in a video game with the set goal of "all sliders at max." It's grotesque and ludicrous and fascinating.

Yeah, I saw this the other day on amiami and all I could say was what the fuck is that. If you want a Amazon scale figure get MegaHouse's Amazon figure. This one just looks a contorted mass of muscles. BEAT definitely one upped X Plus for the ugliest Amazon Statue.

This is a legitimate aesthetic style. Criticize it if you don't like it. Feel free to not patronize it with your dollars. But don't work to block someone from making what they want. That crosses over to fascism.

That looks ugly as fuck. Guess the exaggerated style doesn't translate well into a statue, unless it's a character wearing clothes or full body armor.

No, this piece of plastic causing a controversial discussion with opinions that don't match yours has nothing to do with fascism

I'll say the same thing I thought when I first saw this figure way back when: It looks like she's in the process of transforming and they caught her midway through.

Absolutely grotesque. Looking at each section of her body individually just reinforces the body horror feeling of it.

If your going to sell a figure it should have been the Mage, sorcerer or archer. Amazon is too intimidating for little old me to even consider buying.

Pics of these Max Factory figures of please?

I like the Amazon's in game sprites butd this thing seems to be based on her ridiculous proportions in the promo art.

It's the one that has been posted in this thread about 10 times by now, so I won't post it again. I personally only own the Max Factory Elf figure (that was posted earlier as well) as I thought it was a bit nicer, but the Amazon is pretty good as well.

If you ask me, it might also depend on which company is making the figures...some companies are known for their crappy quality while others like MaxFactory and Alter are generally considered some of the better ones.

E.g Kamitani's art style was captured pretty well on the Elf figure.

Elf is so damn wonderful looking. Alter is looking to make a awesome Yuzuruha from Muramasa.

Man, the original sprite is pretty cool looking.
This figure is just giving me major Akira vibes.
That neck and face though, hahaha
