The art style seems to be the #1 reason people don't play Dragon's Crown. I feel the same way and somebody else says the same thing every time the game comes up.

Even if you don't find it offensive, lots of people find it aesthetically repugnant. Which is too bad, because I hear the game is supposed to be a lot of fun.

Yeah I ended up buying it in a recent sale as I'm starved of beat em ups but I do find the artstyle ugly and its the reason I never touched it until now. When I get round to playing it I'll be doing it purely for gameplay and I'll just have to force myself to tolerate the look.

Looks like a pile of yams. Those hip bones are insane! Next to the source art, it looks like someone with a balloon fetish inflated the fuck out of the figure.

That figure is really...uh....Its about as far from realistically proportioned as you can get. But its funny to look at I guess, and I'm sure SOMEONE out there likes it. So I'm happy for them.

Huh; I thought the art design was really gorgeous in Dragon's Crown. The gameplay and all didn't interest me so I passed on it, but I thought it was aesthetically really pretty looking.

It over exaggerates things even more than the game. Like, WAY more. I don't think its faithful.

I'm quite ok with the figure, as with anything bizarre and surreaslitic. Except for those breasts totally out of place. If you want to go full 'roid, don't skip that area.
