As someone that really enjoyed FC3 and FC4 (haven't played primal yet), I'm hyped as hell for this new one. I've spent a fair amount of time in Montana, so I'm digging the location and hoping they do some pretty cool things with it. The Christian thing doesn't bother me one bit, but I can see how others might be put off. Here's hoping for a fly fishing mini game.

I think ISIS controlled territory would make for a perfect Far Cry setting actually. But the series always go pulpy and outrageous, so it would be distasteful to do this while the conflicts still lasts
The question is how safe will they play it in regards to the actual content in the final game? Here's hoping they don't play it too safe. Give me more than that cookie cutter design and narrative. Make the player feel uncomfortable playing this shit if you're actually gonna tackle some of these subjects. Do not be afraid of your bosses and their bosses lol.

It's a game about having fun while murdering hundreds of people. All Far Cry games are. So it would be impossible to satisfy places like Feminist Frequency anyway. It's just not a franchise that lends itself to a lot of progressive ideas. Assassin's Creed could, Watch Dogs could, but not Far Cry.
