Fast and Furious franchise has the best stunts and action set pieces going on today. Michael Bay wishes he could flip cars the way these stunt coordinators do. Seriously, it is ridiculous how much of the action is all practical.
That entire convoy sequence from Furious 7 was all practical.
And the Tank Sequence in Fast 6
And making a car that actually flips cars.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got an actual submarine and bust it through the ice to flip those trucks.

Dude I'm very surprised at these. They all look so CGI and fake in the movies! I'm very impressed.

Yup, they may be ridiculously dumb fun, but they do so much practically that you have to appreciate the craft of the stuntwork and action. No one else does real vehicle stunts as crazy as this series.

Rewatched the trailer earlier and realized they edited the trailer to make it look and sound like the Rock is shooting af Vin and his riot shield, but those are two different scenes. My assumptiom is that the NYC action scene with Vin armored up is the finale and the submarine/arctic scenes is the big middle action segment
