Ninja Turtles was my childhood favorite because the cartoon was my favorite back then. I wasn't really interested in game mechanics but you know I could control fucking Ninja Turtles and that was more than enough.
Sunset Riders is still my favorite arcade game.

Its tough for me to figure out what exactly was 8-bit back in my arcade days. I guess I'd have to go with Rampage.

Seems to me, that generally, stuff up to 1983 and some of '84 is 8-bit. But the full 16-bit shift occurred throughout '84. So I'd say odds are if was released in '85 or after, it's 16-bit. Rampage came out in '86. Midway games though usually had that similar cartoon art style throughout the years regardless of what processor was running things.
