I don't really watch music videos anymore, so I'm gonna be digging back a bit, but "Do The Evolution" by Pearl Jam is a bad ass video. I still like to watch it every now and then. Helps the song is awesome too.

Every once in awhile I get in the mood to check some out and see what they've set to their music. There's a lot that don't add all that much, but some do. I especially like ones that tell some sort of story. This one is great in that regard.

Atmosphere - Kanye West
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JrDVPsVbVA

Star Guitar - Chemical Brothers; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=615FUp8aUmU
Watch the cuts. It is absolutely incredible. How did they achieve it? Such a simple video. Without a doubt one of the best of all time.
And FYI, regarding the best version of Star Guitar, check out Shincichi Osawas legendary remix; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_LXPbfJM48

Basement Jaxx - Never Say Never; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0eS3zC3Jco
It is better than Pacific Rim. In every way.

Tama Impala - The Lesser I know the better; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBzrzS1Ag_g
If Bring it On meets Planet of the Apes in a fantastic teenage high school angst. You have to love it, even if every hipster is riding on the Impala dick.

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwv-3cM2pVk
It takes me back to the late 90s. It reminds me of something to the effect the creator of Adventure Time said, when asked about how and why people got so much out of watching his show when so much of the story was essentially non-story. He said it was due to the fact that the audience tends to feel what the characters are feeling. This MV examplifies that feeling. Spending the long hazy summer days on hobbies, listening to music and not having a care in the world. Only 90s kidz will getz dis. upvote if ur cry evrytim.

DJ Khaled - Hold You Down; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxPBu_vX9Q0
Girl you smart. girl u very smart. Infact you a genius. U let me hustle.
DJ khaled is more than a meme. He is more that a internet charlatan. More than a RnB clown. People laugh at him because he is goofy and not legit, but DJ Khaled is inspiring and he comes out with a profound message.
You have to remember where he started. DJ Khaled was not more than a fat extra holding an umbrella for fat joe in the mid 2000s( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dPjONDN3ZI ) Khaled is just standing there holding an umbrella like an asshole. Look at everything he has achieved. Hold You Down is about DJ Khaled and him being an enigma. It doesn't matter how silly or self depricating or uncool he is. He is still gonna hold you down. And another one. You smart.

DJ Pogo - Upular; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2yt1ooLQGo
He is amazing at what he does, and that is making you appreciating sound mixing and sound designs. His sthick is not just to do voice mixes (plenty of those). He makes you appreciate the films he tackle a lot more. You should be subscribed to his channel. He is fantastic.

Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight Tonight; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOG3eus4ZSo
This video slays. It is so fucking well done. It is also the defining Smashing Pumpkins song and the video carries their statement as a band. There is this softness to their sound with a rough edge.

Aqua - Barbie Girls; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyhrYis509A
A song to define a decade. And to define meth.

Really liked this one, lol.

The playlist i'm currently working on building contains rather unusual videos in one way or another. Added this track to it, and to throw out a few more for the thread -

Anamanaguchi - Pop It
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scmQ6iN8hKM

Infected Mushroom - Pink Nightmares
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRufAykZPnE&index=8

Animal Collective - FloriDada
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuoIvNFUY7I&index=5

If you guys got anymore suggestions in the same vein i'd love to see em'. Will keep checking out what else was posted here.

I have my kids watch his videos all the time. They like Boo Bass the most, but I prefer the songs he creates from visiting other countries, like Kenya Chords and Kadinche.

Also, if you like Pogo then you'll probably like Jeesh as well.

Some of my old school favorites:

Janet Jackson - Go Deep
https://youtu.be/9Rp7cqPtmAM

Like with Weird Science, I can identify with the nerd that can't enjoy his own party haha.

Busta Rhymes - Gimme Some More
https://youtu.be/un3NkWnHl9Q

The one music video that scared my sis, when we were kids.

Earth, Wind, and Fire - Let's Groove
https://youtu.be/Lrle0x_DHBM

The Grandmasters of Funk.

The Beatnuts - No Escapin This
https://youtu.be/g8DGrc1uh7I

Mannequins are alive, I tells ya!

The Notorious B.I.G. - Sky's The Limit
https://youtu.be/d3vOeCkeCNA

Using children was a cute way to get around Big's untimely death.

And of course, no Music Video list would be complete without at least one Michael Jackson song. Just for shits and giggles, I'm going with the most trippy...

The Jacksons - Can You Feel It
https://youtu.be/9nP4WE_-uqE

Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCDIYvFmgW8
All Hail the Walken!

Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7jSp2xmmEE
Still amazing.

Space Jam Anthen - Hit em High; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewOzi5-AZXU
OH MY GAWD. WHY IS THIS STILL SO GREAT?

Anouk - Nobodys Wife; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RaHTDNude4
Anthem of feminists.

Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTJ7AzBIJoI
YES!
