Favorite Persona/SMT Demon Design?

Hardly the most creative of choices, but I can't help liking what I like!

Byakko is my personal favorite. I must have him in my party whenever he is available. Also, I loved having Berserker around as well

Mithra hands down. Liked it so much it appeared in a dream once.

Apsu looked pretty cool when I was playing SMT IV recently

Despite how few of them appear in SMT games, the Aztec demons that do show up usually get fairly memorable designs.

Too hard to chose from all the awesome designs... (well from Kaneko at least, I'm really not a fan of SMT IV's new designs (honorary mention to Saburo though)).

But if I had to chose, it'd probably be Helel/Lucifer:

For human chracters, can't chose between Hitoshura and Raidou:

This thread shows just how the SMT/Persona saga is superior to every other one, artistically-wise.

Kaneko (and Soejima) is a god.

Hitoshura looks like an Acne Studios model. Raidou is probably my favorite human character design in the genre, really need to spend more time with the two Devil Summoner games as I haven't finished either. The plushie that came with 2 was such a great extra.

Edit: I did finish Soul Hackers which is also under the Devil Summoner umbrella I suppose.

Yeah, Kaneko has this unique mixture of elegant linework and amazing grasp of form, combined with a very bizarre, lurid imagination. Take away the "weirdness" of his designs and you still have some of the best character designs I've seen. There is such an expressiveness and sensitivity to his work. I wish more character/anime artists would take influence from him.

There's no one greater in this industry. One of these days I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and order the other books aside from Digital Devil Apocalypse, ridiculous after market pricing be damned.

Those designs are literally bursting with style and imagination.

Just incredible. I´ve neglected the SMT series for far too long (despite liking the genre).

That has to change !
